GoodLife Fitness Grimsby Industrial and South Service

This is the closest and most convenient gym for me; however, the facility is in significant need of updates. Paying the same membership price as other GoodLife Fitness locations feels unreasonable given how outdated this gym is in comparison. The space itself is quite large and has the potential to be utilized much more effectively with updated equipment and a more thoughtful layout. The women’s section, in particular, would benefit greatly from having its own squat rack or Smith machine. Additionally, there is currently no practical way to perform hip thrusts. Without a dedicated hip thrust machine, members are forced to set up a barbell with plates and rely on the back of another machine for support, which is not ideal. The existing Smith machine also does not lower all the way to the floor, making hip thrusts difficult or impossible to perform properly. That said, the best part of this location is the staff. The team is consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which makes a big difference in the overall experience. With some much-needed upgrades to the equipment and layout, this location could better match the standards of other GoodLife facilities.

This location needs serious upgrade or renovation. Gym stinks, even if its clean, washroom smells as well even it looks clean! Cardio machine it's working but it makes weird noises, not a lot of variation for equipment for leg day, Grimsby community keeps growing, we have membership that we can use any locations, and we always skip this location unless it's really needed. And this review is long overdue sorry.

Thank god the staff is great because it’s the worst GoodLife. it lacks alot of equipment. Way too many cardio machines that don’t get used. If you want to train hybrid, go to another gym. No ski, no wall balls, one sled that’s in the personal training area. It’s a large space with the most wasted space. Currently, 4 broken treadmills, one air bike, lifter tiles all around water fountain in the man weigh area. No towel service. This place is terrible. I wish they would spend some of our monthly membership money on that gym. $100 a month is a way too much for what you get!! You can do better good life!’

Lacking…. Dosent meet the good life standards I’m accustomed to. Gym equipment is old old. Layout of equipment sucks. I’d be very annoyed at paying $100 a month if this was my home gym. No towel service. Basic basic. One water fountain and it’s out of service. Like Seariously this location should be shut down.

Decent gym, I go here when I am visiting the in-laws in Grimsby area. The gym is definitely outdated and the shower area needs a renovation badly, no towel service. Crowd isn't bad though, usually not that busy and can get the equipment you need. Just be mindful if you plan to use the showers, need to bring your own towel and its a open shower area, where anyone in the changing room can see you if you are not in the one hidden corner of the shower area that only has 1 shower head.
