Gong Cha

I'm hate to write this review about this Gong cha, but in my opinion this is the worst location I ever been, since the environment inside are comfortable but the floor are little messy even the counter, I ordered QQ peach green tea, and what they give me is QQ green tea, no peach, only tea and sugar very bad, but the washroom I have to say that they should clean it. At this point, I wouldn't never come back again and I hope they do better next time.

I have come to this location many times before and usually get the Dolce Milk Coffee and it always amazing with a good blend of black coffee and milk. This time however it was given to me with basically little to no milk. It tasted like straight black coffee which I hate very much and never drink. This drink didn't even look like how was advertised in the store menu.

I had such a great experience at Gong Cha in St. Catharines! The flavors were spot on—not too sweet, not too bland—and the pearls were super fresh and chewy. You can even customize how sweet and cold you want your drink, which is perfect for picky drinkers like me! The staff were super friendly and quick, so I didn’t have to wait long at all. The shop itself was clean and cozy—definitely a nice spot to chill for a bit or grab a drink to go.

I’ve ordered at Gong Cha so many times, but my experience today made me extremely disappointed. I ordered at around 9:20pm, with one Large size Brown Sugar Milk tea adding pearls inside, 2 egg waffles and 1 Korean style hotdog. However, I don’t think I’ll come again within 3 months, the food quality was quite disappointing. I spent $29 dollars for 4 items. Beside $0.90 charges on one topping in the drink, I’m paying $5.99 for such a ridiculous hotdog which didn’t match the picture at all. The hotdog was not even bigger than two packs of ketchup! Moreover, the staff there was not familiar with their duty. Yet only 3 groups of customers were inside the store including me, the employee was about to give my items to other customers. I can understand the increased price due to the inflation, but I don’t think that’s the way how you treat your customers with high-price but low-quality items.

Honestly, I think this is the best Gong Cha I have been to. The service is excellent. The owner is super nice and welcoming. Their croffle is actually pretty good. The drinks and hong Kong waffle are delicious as well. Prices are decent, not too high. Really recommend everyone should stop by and check this franchise out. Much better than Gong Cha in the US. They have different items that I never seen other Gong Cha carry.
