Ashely Gibson was opposing counsel in my fiance's divorce case. First, for EVERY parent out there, Ms. Gibson is also a lawyer for the Office of the Children's lawyer. The lawyer who handled the case for the children in our situation did a few minutes of interviewing at each parent's house. TELL YOUR CHILDREN THE TRUTH AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE ABLE TO MAKE A FULLY INFORMED CHOICE FOR PARENTING TIME. Make sure to tell your children the truth about the living options they have and that they can live equally with both parents for one week on and one week off. Furthermore, she is also the AGENT FOR ALL PARTIES in our case. We have been awaiting a divorce order for AGES. We went to the courthouse to find out information and she HAS NOT EVEN HANDED IN THE PAPERWORK FOR IT YET. Through out our entire case her client was blatantly negligent towards the children, even to the point mom was not taking child to orthodontist for his appointments, but tried to make it so no one could make appointments but her, and the child's brackets were completely falling off. The child had not seen the orthodontist since February 2023 and it was August when I, the step mother, finally had to bring him. Mom ran away from the youngest son on her time because she wanted a free weekend. We told her we had plans and couldn't keep him and told her we would bring the youngest to her. She literally packed her stuff and left her house. Yet, Gibson was fighting so hard for this emotionally abusive mother to have full custody, yet claims to put best interests of children first. DO NOT HIRE HER IF YOU WANT PROPER REPRESENTATION.
