BUYER BEWARE! Gibbys sells the same products as anywhere else. But good luck if you have a problem. In my case, I ordered an open box Samsung sound bar speaker. Immediately upon receipt, I noticed that the product in the box was not as the descriptive (different Serial number and 2018 year manuf. date). It is obvious (to me) that the previous buyer had switched the product upon return and Gibbys has done a poor job of QC this return. The product was returned by me to Gibbys and then the news that they would not move. Unfortunately, Gibbys did not even entertain the notion that, maybe, I had received the wrong product. It's a sticky situation and I would have settled for a compromise. Unfortunately, Gibbys blames me and I have absolutely no recourse. So now Gibbys has my money and have no speaker to show for it. GIbbys solution? Make a Wrong-Item-Chargeback claim to your credit card company. I will know in 60 days. I recommend you do your purchasing at Big Box stores that have a minimum/better customer service.

We have only ever ordered online from Alberta, BUT Gibby’s is the best electronic superstore in the country. Maybe the whole world. This one tim, we were having issues with our speakers, which we didn’t even buy from them. We sought advice through their online chat. Not only did they provide advice and support, they even offered to video call us to help us out with our set up. All of their advice worked and solved our issue. We have since purchased several speakers and a receiver from them. They are always quick to respond and have great sales and fair prices. We are genuinely always happy with their service and products and support. Would definitely recommend shopping with them from anywhere in Canada.

Bought a Denon AVR-X1700H AV receiver B-Stock. I don't know if it's the b-stock or the store itself. I received the unit quite quickly which is nice. However, the remote wasn't working. So I couldn't do anything since I need the remote to navigate and set it up. The B-stock certified experience isn't great at this point, is this a Denon or Giggy's issue? Did they forget to test the remote? I reached out at customer service. The service was good and responsive. They sent me a remote that was rattling, clearly a piece loose inside, but it worked. Did they choose to send it anyways, I'll never know. I'm kind of doubting how long this receiver will last at this point... Somehow, I got a second remote that is in way better condition. Still unsure about how about Denon verify the B stock unit, since it might not be Gibby's fault. I'll give them 4 stars. Fingers crossed that the receiver has been tested properly.

I am from Alberta. I found Gibbys doing some internet searches looking for some car audio components. I found them to be price leading on all the items I was looking for, so I ordered from them. Deliveries came promptly and all items were exactly as promised. It's nice to support a Canadian company, and no concerns buying from Alberta. I found sometimes that adding items to the cart prompted further discounts. So don't just trust the price on the item. Add to cart.
