The mechanics here are great and knowledgeable and I have always been happy with my service. The only problem with this place is the front line customer service. The Service advisor is very disrespectful, and speaks in a very condescending manner. I spent almost $2,000 for a complete break job and I noticed some squeaking that comes and goes. I called about it and I was told that i’ll be charged $65.00 for an inspection and there is a good chance that I need a new break job after only 17,000 klms on them and it’s likely my fault for storing my car for a few months in my garage because I want to keep it nice and not drive it through the winter salt. Then when I asked for a tire rotation I was told that it will be another $65- even though all of the tires were coming off for the break inspection. It wasn’t until I got upset and expressed my dissatisfaction that the service advisor said that he could make an exception so he made note on my file to rotate my tires. If you don’t want your blood pressure to go up, just save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else where you’re treated with respect.
View on GoogleJust got my BMW's turbo replaced at German Automotive, and the process was smooth with excellent results. They have great customer service, gave me a loaner vehicle while the job was conducted, and have very fair prices. I have nothing negative to say, and I'll definately be using them in the future for all my service needs.
View on GoogleRecently, German Automotive replaced the timing chains on my 2015 BMW 528i, a complex and time consuming job. The knowledgeable staff responded to all my questions patiently and with respect. Given that they specialize in German cars, I was confident that their expertise would be beneficial. Replacing timing chains is generally an expensive repair but German Automative quoted me a very fair price and as far as I can tell they did an excellent job. I was delighted to give my business to a local business rather than a dealership. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop, Thanks to everyone at German Automotive!

View on GoogleDaniel, the owner, is very diligent, organized and overall professional. I had a pre-purchase inspection for a rather expensive BMW done here, as opposed to going to a dealer, and the scope and level of detail in the report were great with inspection done on time. Daniel is very knowledgeable, responsive and patient. I had great experience and highly recommend this place. Update. A few months and 5k mileage later.. removed one star for missing the worn front bushings and ceased tie rods during the pre purchase inspection...this is not new and could not develop over the short period of time since I bought the car. this omission cost me $2.5k pllus new tires
