Had a good dinner at George's. The service was fast, friendly with a great atmosphere . The wait staff even ensure we had a window table overlooking the canal. The meal started if with fresh warm bread the quickly followed by a generous portion of Greek salad. Our mains came shortly after. The portions were a great size, my partner's gyro dinner was huge! Overall the portions and food was incredible. The only issue I had with my meal was the beef, although was cooked perfectly was very grissley which made it hard to chew. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definately return again . Make sure you come hungry . Oh ya we had the calamari appetizer which was also very good.

I look forward to returning to this hidden gem. Although not near any hub of activity, its only 10 minutes to Virgil, 15 minutes to NOTL. Perfect spot, situated beside the Welland Canal with fantastic, unobstructed views. We sat on the enclosed patio for lunch, January 24th the coldest day of the year and there was no drafts - and I feel the cold. The food was inexpensive, the quantities generous, but what will keep us coming back is the quality. Well done. Our server George was friendly and efficient. The soup Avgolemono was so tasty. Wow. The salad dressing home made and the chicken was flavored kust right. Do yourself a favor and dine at George's.

We were here in November and couldn't say enough about it. The location overlooking the canal was beautiful. We were there mid afternoon on a Saturday and it was busy so at peak times a reservation would probably be a good idea. Service was really good. George was our server. They were accommodating to be dairy free. The food we had was delicious. Highly recommend the souvlaki and moussaka. Both come with salad.

We had lunch here on a Friday and the patio was packed happy customers enjoying their food and beautiful view of the river. The menu offers great variety of Greek cuisine and is split into lunch and dinner menu. We ordered “Saganaki” for appetizer and “Kebob Combo” and “Octopus Dinner” for main. We also enough the complimentary Greek Salad served with Garlic Bread. Dinner menu is served with the sides of potatoes, salad and rice and the portions are generous. We replaced potatoes and rice with cooked vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. For dessert, we ordered the delicious “Baklava Sundae” and enjoyed Greek Baklava with vanilla ice cream. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff are friendly, especially George made our lunch memorable.

I went to this place after hiking Niagara Glen with 2 others last weekend. The place was busy since it was near dinner time and there was a wait-list (20-25 minutes). The restaurant was cozy and the staff very friendly. The portion sizes were quite large, my friends ordered calamari, chicken souvlaki dinner, & I ordered the gyro dinner. Everything tasted delicious and authentic, one of the best Greek foods I had in a while. The rice was cooked perfectly, the meat, and the house made taziki sauce was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place if you're in this area.
