We were back at Gauld Nurseries for the second time before Christmas to pick up a 4 or 5 foot potted Christmas tree that we could plant after at a recreational property. Jack spent a lot of time with us to ensure we were happy with our experience so we would be enticed back. Great conversation about growing trees from seeds and other native species we might consider. Would we go back? Absolutely.

From Alex's and Paula's expertise and knowledge in planning to the many hard working crews. Everyone is professional, courteous and efficient. I’ve purchased trees and plants from Gauld’s over the years, but I had never considered their landscaping services—until now. I had the pleasure of working with Alex to design my front yard and side entrance. She truly listened to my likes and dislikes, and came up with a thoughtful plan. After taking some time to consider it, I returned with a few changes in mind. Alex was understanding and accommodating, and never once made me feel like an inconvenience. When the first crew, led by Tom, arrived to start construction, we hit a small hiccup with the existing porch. Alex communicated with me right away and offered a quick, practical solution. Tom and his team were professional, efficient, and ensured the site was clean and tidy at the end of each day. The work carried on seamlessly. Though I had no timeline in mind, I was amazed when, in just four days, we had a stunning new patio area completed. Andy and his crew followed with the planting, and I was blown away. These two teams of young men were incredibly hardworking. Despite working through one of the hottest heatwaves, they remained professional, polite, respectful, and kept the site immaculate. I believe they planted over 50 plants in one day! I’ve had landscapers in the past that felt more like lawn maintenance services, so I was understandably hesitant. But Alex and her teams exceeded every expectation and delivered a beautiful outdoor space that we’ll enjoy for years to come. Thank you, Alex, for collaborating with me and bringing the vision to life—and thank you to Tom, Andy, and their crews for your attention to detail and dedication to quality. Great place to shop! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. I was having trouble finding the right trees and shrubs for my yard and the staff were amazing at helping me make the right choices. If you want knowledgeable people to help with your garden needs shop at gaulds!

Not knowing who to call, I randomly made a few calls to various landscaping companies, some of which didn't return my messages or extremely slow to respond. From the moment I reached out to Gauld Nurseries, first speaking to Dave and immediately after receiving a call from Alex, who designed my backyard beds and managed the entire project, I was impressed with how quickly they put time aside to discuss my ideas. Their friendliness, knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. Alex was a good listener when I explained what I liked and disliked and she incorporated the plantings beautifully into the design plan. When it came time to begin the job, Andy, Denzel and Enzy arrived to my house each day with smiles on their faces and worked hard to give me the beautiful backyard I have been anxiously waiting to see and enjoy. They were friendly, polite and very professional. They came prepared and look like they love what they do. My neighbour who allowed access on their property to complete the job, mentioned how polite and nice the guys were with them. I no longer have to search for a landscaper as I would definitely use Gauld Nurseries for any future projects I may have and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of any landscaping jobs.
