Although we could not afford to have our dog Kingsley’s ashes returned to us, we chose communal burial. I called and spoke to Kendra just to understand where our sweet boy would end up, what would happen to him. She promptly sent us an email with the details acknowledging Kingsleys name. She was so so kind and sweet when answering my questions over the phone. Speaking with her even just briefly made me feel better in our decision for our amazing dog. It really helped with closure over the whole ordeal.

I am so unbelievably disappointed with my experience. From losing my beloved pet, it took me 2 months to get her cremated remains back. I asked for fur, as I purchased a keepsake to keep her fur in. I received the tiniest bit of fur back, not nearly enough to put in my keepsake. I got enough fur back to hold between 2 fingers. I’ll never get that chance again to get her fur and feel like I’ve been robbed. I wish I had just saved fur when I had her. It’s better to give too much than too little when someone requests fur from their pet. I also ordered a custom nose print necklace charm for $511. I just received the charm and it really is beautiful, and I do love it. But I noticed the box the charm came in said a name other than Gateway Memorial. So I looked them up and quickly discovered the charm I purchased for $511 from Gateway Memorial is actually $243USD shipped from the company that made it. So after the exchange rate I’ve been up charged around $189 for the charm which sucks after already paying huge vet bills prior to losing my baby. “Thumbies” is the company that makes the custom imprint necklaces, for those that want to save hundreds of dollars and order for themselves. I am literally sick over this.

If I could give a lower rating I would. Our beloved 19 year old cat, Fergus, passed away recently. Our 2 granddaughters each wanted a clay paw print. Imagine our disappointment when we opened the fancy box that came in a fancy bag and when opened we found an oval shape containing a paw print with NO NAME, NO DATE ON IT and NOTHING ON THE BACK TO HANG IT UP WITH. An absolute disgrace at $75.00 each. $150 plus taxes and an exorbitant cremation charge. If you are not embarrassed, you certainly should be. Robbery.

My sweet cat passed away suddenly. My family was heartbroken. We brought her to Morgan Animal Hospital and she was sent out for cremation. We picked up her remains today and were so happy with everything Gateway Pet Memorial provided. Very thoughtful. I highly recommend this company.

A huge thank you to all the carrying staff at this facility. I brought my beloved Bruno of almost 15 years in to visit a week before he crossed. The staff were very helpful and showed me the procedure and explained everything. They don't often meet the pet while alive, so were glad to see him. They are caring, compassionate and understanding. They treat their job with pride and value the clients. Tomorrow I will be visiting again with Bruno's brother Kish. Knowing he will be going to gateway is comforting. Gateway gives you closure to the very end. Thank you for being that special place that makes it special for us. !!
