Garrison Place

I can not speak highly enough about Garrison place and its incredible staff. From the moment we walked in, my mother felt the warmth and compassion from all in the building. Garrison place is clean , comfortable , well maintained and truly feels like home. Sarah Mcphee's communication with our family was excellent and you can tell she truly cares about the well being of each resident making this transition an easier one. Tonight we had a family Christmas dinner, the turkey, staff and decorations made it a wonderful night. I am so grateful to all the staff at Garrison Place.

Excellent care with empathy, humour, relationship building and such a safe residence, with a team of special people who make it so. My mom has been a resident since April, 2024 and has made friends, participates in fun outings and lots of fun in-house entertainment, games, exercise classes, and no longer feels alone. Prior to this move, she lived alone and that life was becoming more challenging. The social activities leaders are such selfless, caring women, as is the general manager. Her entire team is positive and are vested in making sure myom and all the other residents are happy. We compared Garrison Place with several other boutique hoteling type residences and big name chains.... Hands down, Garrison Place is home with an incredible value statement. My mom and I would be lost without it.

My grandma lived here from 2018-2020. She was very hesitant to enter this phase of her life, it was hard for her to make the decision. She was happy she did. The staff was amazing. She was able to maintain her independence until she couldn’t. She was well cared for and treated like family. She was family. This home is warm, cozy and inviting. The food was excellent and the room, although felt small at first, was perfect once everything was all settled. My grandma was able to start and end her journey at Garrison. When she was passing, we were able to stay in what became her home and be with her, holding her hand. It is something of which I am forever grateful. Thanks to the beautiful staff.
