I have to be honest here, it is very important that all staff are able to communicate in the set language of the country they are working in because in business, there is zero room for miscommunication. I had call two different locations to assure myself what I was told was correct unfortunately when I called this location they had a very poorly speaking person I can only imagine was new to Canada just a week ago who couldn't comprehend basic English and as a result cost me a few quid in transportation. In closing..... me no rikey speaky no ingrish speaky peep hole. If this or any of its locations expect to get my money again, they better ask for it in a way I can understand or solly no tickey no laundry.
View on GoogleThere was some confusion regarding a pre-order (100% my fault!) But the manager went above and beyond to find me another identical item in the company! Also, very helpful and friendly staff!
View on GoogleJust fantastic. Chris was such an amazing help, he went so out of his way to help me get a game I wanted (this isn’t even my ebgames nearest to me). Rest assure though, I’ll be going here from now on. Great service, friendly as can be and both Chris and another gentleman (my apologies I didnt catch his name but he helped me with Mario odessy) did everything possible to help me. Not to mention how well they worked together. I HIGHLY recommend THIS ebgames particularly you won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much ♥️ ps. Prince of Persia truly is amazing! 😁.
View on GoogleI had the privilege of being assisted by Chris and Thomas at this GameStop location near the fairview mall in St. Catharines. At another GameStop location, I was mistakenly and accidentally told that my platinum card had not been eligible to receive discounts on my purchases because GameStop was discontinuing platinum memberships. Please note, the staff at this location were still very nice and pleasant of course. No hate or negative criticism on my end :) When informing both Chris and Thomas about this situation at this other GameStop location , they kindly provided clarity on the platinum membership and stated even though the platinum membership was ending, that my membership was still active until March 2024 which was great as I had paid an annual fee for this membership as well. With all that said, they both offered and had fixed the situation immediately , discounted my purchases from the other store, and saved me money as well. This was definitely really exceptional customer service at its best and I couldn't go on with my day without giving some type of credit for such awesome service. Truly grateful to have been supported by both Chris and Thomas! Thank you!
View on GoogleAlways a great experience and the nicest and most helpful staff. I took my kids to look around. My son wanted a game that turned out to be sold out. Christopher, the staff that was helping us, found the only copy in the store. Turns out it was his own personal copy that he reserved for himself to purchase. My son was so happy and it meant a lot. Thank You again.
