One of the benchmarks for Arenas in Ontario! The best concession stand I've ever seen. Rinks have heaters which is great. Some obstructed views into the same side corners but the main Arena offers unobstructed views of the ice.
View on GoogleGreat facility with plenty of seating in each arena. Clean and well maintained. Ice can be hit or miss on some rinks. Walking Track available at the top of rink one. Arena staff are friendly. Free WiFi. Many displays with local history and awards the city of Niagara Falls and its greater area has won. Clean washrooms. Elevator available. Bookings available through their website. Prices are reasonable. Schedules can run behind. Concession is available as well. Prices are a little high.
View on GoogleI’m not local and checked out public skating. The administration guy was very nice and the regulars at the adult mid-day skate were welcoming. I loved the ice texture. I think the arena is colder than my local arena which had a positive effect on the ice surface. The other cool thing was that there were some really really skilled skaters there doing spins and jumps! There were two older women doing a little ice dancing too. I’d definitely recommend going to public skating here! There are 4 rinks, tons of parking, and vending machines. I didn’t see any cafe or restaurant but I didn’t look very hard.
View on GoogleWeekend of Hockey at CCM 68 Select. All 5 ice times where in rink 3. There are 4 rinks here. Nice and spacious. The only question I had was after spending Three days here, the concession stand was never open. We hope to be back. This is a great area to stay.
View on GoogleCame here to watch four excellent draws of the Grand Slam of Curling's Tour Challenge. A very acceptable venue for the event, but could do with more elevators. Would love to see the event return here again! Far too many curling events are in faraway locations for me (I live in Hamilton). Again, caught some great curling action and it was a treat seeing Team Jennifer Jones win their first Slam as a new team (Jennifer's tenth) and seeing Team Daniel Casper pick up their first Slam title (it's a pity the Tier 2 doesn't receive as much coverage).
