Frydaze Chip Shack

I am a Canadian that lives in Texas and came back for a visit to see my sister in Ridgeway and this is the BEST Poutine I have ever had!! Poutine is one of the first things I have once I get back to Canada and this does not disappoint. Will definitely be back on my next visit! If you are in the area you need to check it out 10 out of 10! Wish I could have tried all the items on the menu!

I think that this outdoor patio restaurant has changed ownership (?). The fries are the best around (especially well-done if requested). The sausage on a bun also delicious. It could be improved with soda fountain drinks (my opinion). They also have THE most delicious mini donuts hot and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Ask for them after finishing your meal. 5+ ⭐️s!

Met Dale and Donna today, such lovely ladies! Great menu. i originally thought it was just fries, but they have many options including vegetarian and gluten free. Later in the day as I drive by someone had takeout, so that’s an option as well. Well priced. I had the poutine which was absolutely perfect. Hit the spot! I look forward to coming back.

Does not disappoint. The French fries are fresh and delicious. We had poutine and taco fries. They use real cheese curds. Very yummy, definitely will come back !

Cute & clean little chip shack with outdoor seating (picnic tables with umbrellas). Standard chip shack fare. No vegetarian options aside from french fries. I enjoyed a $6 Small Poutine. Fries were cooked well, gravy was thick and the cheese curds were the real deal. The only concern I had were the condiments roasting in the late afternoon sun. Thanks for the delicious poutine!
