Fresco's Euro Grille

A great restaurant that I discovered in St. Catharines. I have dined in as well as ordered take out. The portions are generous, food is tasty and prices reasonable. My personal favourite is the meatball parmigiana sandwich. Close second are the Greek fries. Highly recommend Fresco, you will not be disappointed!

It was my first time at Fresco's and I was not disappointed. The chicken wrap I ordered tasted great and it was a good portion. Someone in my group ordered the fish special and loved it. Someone else order the Mixed Grilled Platter and really enjoyed it. A couple of people in our group ordered the sandwiches and enjoyed them as well. Their only suggestion was that they would have liked the bun to be toasted more. I would definitely visit Fresco's again when I'm in St Catharines.

Myself my brother and my mother stopped in here after an appointment, and they definitely did not disappoint!! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with a friendly face and shown to our table, we found the music a little bit loud so the very kind server offered to turn the music down for us which was much appreciated, (there was no one else in the restaurant at the time), She immediately took our drink orders came back pretty quickly and took our food order, and the food came out within 20 minutes at most I think. Everything was piping hot and absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back!!

Food was just bad. Possibly a bad night but I doubt it. My daughter ordered a shrimp dish. It tasted like you used Argentinian Red Shrimp and over cooked them. The shrimp were rubbery. The sauces weren't that great. My mother makes authentic sauce and has family recipes that have been passed down. The red sauces had a tin taste like they came from a can. That type of tin taste that hits the back of your tongue and you know exactly what it is. The white sauce was seasoned well but didn't taste fresh. The meatballs also tasted like they were frozen and not fresh. The salad was pretty good but you can't messed that up.

First time here. Best sangria I've ever had made in Canada, I even went for a second which I rarely do because most restaurants just load them up with sugar. The food is perfect quality and the portions are good. Not too small but not too overwhelming. I had no problem spending what I did because the quality and the effort put into the dish was very professional. The atmosphere is comfortable, good choice of music whoever was there that day. The lights are dimly lit which I enjoy and there is lots of beautiful decor, almost like an art gallery walking to the bathroom. The service was top notch....not overbearing but made sure we had our drinks, kept it short and sweet even stepped away when we were paying which is polite. Everything was very clean. Not a single smudge, fingerprint, water droplet (I can look past this but when it's THAT clean I notice) I think this is my new favourite restaurant. Looking forward to coming back again and trying other dishes, it's a nice break from the typical "bar and grill" restaurants that have been taking over the city. This is the perfect spot a romantic evening, anniversary, fancy dress up family dinner...but does look like it's family friendly as well with comfortable booths. 10/10 Thank you!
