I have had 3 pairs of jeans shortened and a coat repaired here. The service was great, price was good and l had my items back in a week. I am loving this new business in town.

Edit: When I called the owner apologized for the situation and offered to fix the situation immediately. That is the type of service that separates companies from their competitors - well done Fort Erie Tailoring & Alterations!! Sometimes what you do in a negative situation means more than always being perfect. Old post - They do not stand by their work/products - The zipper broke on my winter coat and they charged us $60 to replace. It never zipped up right to begin with. It wasn't smooth and difficult - something they should have noticed before they returned it to us. I figured I would try it a bit longer, but after about a week there was an opening on the top of my coat - the zipper stopped working. I was able to force the zipper down slowly, but it happened again. This time I couldn't budge the zipper so I had to break it to get my coat off. Now that it is "broke", they are refusing to honor the work even though the zipper stopped working prior. Apparently I should have kept my coat on until they opened Monday morning. Now I am out $60.

Amazing service! They truly care about their customers and pay attention to every detail. My alterations were done perfectly, and the fit is better than I expected. The prices are fair, and the turnaround time was quick. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my tailoring needs!
