Fort Erie SPCA

Very nice people I had to bring my dog in for his shots, he was treated with kindness, and the ladies at the counter were very helpful. Thank you for making our visit comfortable.

8:30 am I called the Fort Erie SPCA "asking help" for "a possum in obvious distress" - just barely moving under the tree where I feed the birds - after thoroughly explaining the situation and actions of the possum - I was told someone would be dispatched.... even though it was early in the morning "the arrival time was amazingly fast" and "within 10 minutes" the possum was picked up and placed in a warm van... Irene the attending officer "took the time to answered all my questions" - From hearing "the efficiency of protocol" for dealing with wild life in distress . "I knew" this little animal "was in professional but caring hands.".. In a very short time the officer returned "to say the possum was suffering" not just from the cold "but a laceration on it's side" - the wound "was being addressed" and "he would go to rehab" How amazing is that..... then released - I was so relieved - happy and overjoyed at the care - an unattended cut on his side in weeks of minus degree temperatures would have surely been his demise - this extremely cold weather is overly hard on all the wildlife.... I want to personally "Thank Irene for her professionalism and the most compassionate handling of this injured wild animal". It's harder and harder for wild animals to find food for their survival as forested areas are becoming scarce. Not only that but people are less aware of how needed our wildlife is - the benefit of them - like our possums - they eat thousands of ticks also mice and rodents - we need to know our wildlife and wisely help them. The SPCA is so needed in all our communities. "All the staff and wild life Officers" like "Irene" in the Fort Erie Shelter should be highly commended.. I can't Thank you enough.. Heather F.

Jaelle and I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the Clinic for the incredible support they provide to rescue animals. With their help, we were able to get sweet Molly (a rescue from Cayo Largo) the surgeries she so desperately needed—one eye removal and an entropion repair. Because of them, Molly can now live her best, pain-free life. Thank you, April, for introducing me to Laura—another truly wonderful soul with a big heart for animals. We highly recommend the Clinic and are so grateful for everything they do. Cheers 💙

Adopted a kitten here recently. The ladies were fantastic to deal with. You can really tell they want the best for all the animals. We ended up getting a perfect fit for our family.

They are all amazing here !! Took meticulous care of spaying my cat, Fluffy and her vaccinations! They are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and their prices are much more reasonable and affordable than any other vet.. please support them! I can’t say enough amazing things about the Fort Erie SPCA!! And they have the cutest gift shop with the best prices ever!!
