Food Basics

Just left this store so mad. Very rude cashier got pissed at me because I asked for a price check. Terrible place and I'm sick of expensive rotten fruit and vegetables. This review isn't going to change anything other than maybe helping somebody's choice of store to shop at.

Is anyone buying all the expensive rotten produce? No frills and Food basics need to stop selling expired food. Come on Canada. Let's put health before money. I know it will never happen.

What is wrong with management? They need better guidance; horrible customer service especially Jason, tried to resolve something the other day. He was too busy to help. And very rude and quick. He was “trying” to be nice but you can see how phony he is. More interested in giving crap to a kid as I walked away, this location has always had the worst management

Just got back from grocery shopping at Food Basics. A young man, ABBOTT, was my cashier. He has been my cashier before. He is so pleasant and so respectful, I just had to comment. Big smile on his face, like he really likes being there! Keep up the good work ABBOTT, and I love it when you call me MISS and not MA'AM (makes me feel younger).
