The manager is totally useless. I reserved a bag on 2good2go. I prepaid as you have to with the app. I drove out of my way to go pick it up . I went in and shopped for some other items to make the trip worth while. I paid for my items and showed the cashier that I was picking up the bag . Shr went to retrieve it , stated that there's nothing there. She paged the meat department. 15 minutes go by . She pages them again. Finally the manager comes and says they do not have it . I show them that I purchased one snd have not picked it up . The manager says there is nothing they can do that they don't run any of it and its all 2good2gos fault. He says he knows nothing about the app and that when you pick up you go to the freezer and take the bag then go to the cashier after which is not what the instructions on the app says . The manager was not helpful at all and said it's not his problem to contact 2good2go. Another employee was k8nd enough to try and help me contact the app for a refund. I would not shop at this location in the future due to the manager not caring at all and making no effort to make the situation better.

I’ve been coming here for years and every time the store is always very clean and organized. Peggy, Xavier and Ken are all very friendly and knowledgeable about products. They take the time to listen and find the right items for you or help you with the rewards system. Food Basics is definitely the right choice if you want to save money on groceries. They always have awesome sales every week and products are always stocked up.

This is also a very quiet Neighbourhood area. It’s nice place very clean for basic. The staff people are very friendly and ready to help you at any time!

Very clean store. Produce is always fresh. Staff are always very helpful and polite willing to help in anyway.

Worst Food basics location i have ever been too. Dirty and disgusting, to many young kids running the show in there that do not care. I go up to the shopping carts inside and just about every single one there has garbage in it. I go inside and kindly tell a young lady employee working and she acts ridiculously annoyed that im telling her this information. Ill be sure to always hit the welland location only.
