Love this place!! When I worked closer I would get lunch here everyday. Great for something healthy and on the go or to sit and enjoy lunch. Salads, sandwiches, smoothies and more, definitely worth stoping in. also, the staff are awesome.
View on GoogleFlavour Fuel is a cozy local spot that focuses on fresh, healthy soups and sandwiches and there’s no denying the food is really good. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I had the turkey bacon avocado sandwich, and it was excellent, flavorful, perfectly toasted, and clearly made with care. Their rotating soup menu is also a great touch for anyone looking for a comforting, nutritious meal. However, my experience took an uncomfortable turn because of the older lady behind the counter, who I assume was the owner. While the young woman at the counter was polite and professional, the owner repeatedly interrupted her during my order, micromanaging every step even though the employee seemed confident and capable. It created an awkward atmosphere. After I got my food, I briefly stepped out to grab something from my car, leaving my drink, food, and documents on the table for 20 seconds. When I came back moments later, the owner was standing at my table, peering over my papers. I gave her a confused look, and she awkwardly said she was “just making sure I was still here.” It felt intrusive and unnecessary, especially since it was clear I hadn’t left. To top it off, when I began quietly watching a short video on my phone (at a respectful volume), she noticeably turned the store’s music way up. A subtle but obvious reaction. It’s a shame because the food and concept are fantastic, but the overly controlling, invasive behavior ruined what could have been a relaxing meal. I genuinely hope she learns to step back and trust her staff because with a warmer environment, Flavour Fuel could easily be a five-star spot I would have returned too.
View on GoogleFlavourful Fuel: This is run by very attentive individuals who care greatly about their customers. You will be explained what is available and the main ingredients in the food. After paying, your food will be delivered promptly. The environment is pleasant and there is an exclusive table by the entrance, overseeing the parking lot. A bit quieter than inside. We enjoyed this setup. The food is alright with some merits and interesting combinations, but did not impress us as much as some other establishments. Their garlic bread and cheese is nice and served nice and warm, with style. Their coffee is pretty good. Marlee coffee. We had allvegetarian: 2 salads. - bean and corn... - risotto with mushroom The main dish: - the chilli bowl, quite a lot ofgoodies here. Bread: - two portions of bread with cheese, Desert: - a muffin with nuts (perhaps mapple something?) Drinks: - a diet coke - coffee If you are not too fuzzy about the taste, but want a good place to go to, be served with kindness and respect, and enjoy some treats, then this is the place for you. Perhaps you will love this establishment more so than I did. Indeed, a good place to attend with great coffee and plenty of other treats. Plenty of which we did not try. This is one experience in 1000's... So, head over to Flavour Fuel and judge or simply enjoy, for yourself.
View on GoogleFlavour Fuel in St. Catharines is absolutely delicious and a definite must-try. We had the chance to try their Lucky Reuben, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They even offer a gluten-free bread option, and you honestly can't tell the difference—the meat is perfectly stacked high. We really hope they make the Lucky Reuben a permanent menu item. The Chicken Cheddar Melt on a ciabatta bun was also very good. The staff were awesome, taking the time to explain all the gluten-free options and making the whole experience feel personable. The restaurant was clean, including the washrooms. We can't wait to go back and try more of their food.
