FIRST GENERAL saved us! We had a leak behind our toilet and called a company most are familiar with. (RR ) we kept pointing out it was the pipes behind the toilet. 5 visits later they finally removed the toilet. Thankfully our insurance put us in touch with First General. BRIAN ROKOS was absolutely amazing! From the emergency drying process to the beautiful restoration. He is a very caring individual. My wife has several serious health issues and I can't count the times he made additional visits to Niagara Falls to meet with my wife. From the beginning he started every phonecall,email, and visits asking how my wife was doing. I highly recommend calling First General and asking for Brian Rokos All of the contractors he hired were just as wonderful, especially Antonio of Matamoros Construction, my home looks beautiful now, My wife is love with the floors! BRIAN went above and beyond. Be sure to ask for Antonio as well both he and Brian are exceptional!!
View on GoogleHad a leak around a window, my insurance company referred the claim to First General, who came, assessed the damage and recommended Gemini Windows & Doors. Gemini’s assessment was the leak was due to improper siding install and lack of proper sealant. The repair cost me $6000 out of my pocket, plus $1000 deductible. First general, replaced the window sill, had the carpet cleaned to removed the water stain and painted the ceiling in the room below the window, that was paid for between my deductible and my claim. The file was closed and a few weeks later it leaked in the same spot. The owner David came out to look at it and knew right away that the window was improperly installed from day one. He suggested some caulking be applied in the channel that should have had flashing installed and said “we need to make this right”. Mike from Gemini windows came out and did the temporary fix and applied a bead of caulking in the area of concern. The leak stopped, for now. I have emailed and called asking that David return my calls, it has been three months. So the Personal got paid, calls in to them, they don’t care. Gemini got paid to incorrectly determine the cause and eventually applied a bandaid fix. First General got paid, and are not getting back to me. As for me? I got another reminder how corporations don’t care about the customer anymore. Take your money and move on. If your insurance company refers you to First General ask to be referred to someone else. If that someone else refers you to Gemini, ask for someone else.

After a terrible storm that flooded our basement, First General was with us all the way through the process of cleanup to restoration. We felt totally at ease with this company that they would have our best interest in mind. Thank you First General!
