First Choice Hair

I have been getting my hair cut with Ruth for years at this First Choice site and always love the style of my hair when I leave, thanks Ruth

Lesley and Tara were fantastic! My grandson is on the spectrum and Lesley was excited to cut his hair. My 16 month old grandson came another day to check out the location and the staff were amazing! Great parking. No mall. Walk in from lot parking. Can’t say how grateful we are to find a place with great haircuts. Accommodating staff and friendly service!

A few months ago I came in for a haircut and showed a reference photo, but I ended up with a completely different style than what I asked for. The cut was also noticeably uneven (about 1 cm longer on one side). I returned the next day to have it fixed, and the original stylist did try to correct it, but she kept cutting it shorter all around and it still remained longer on one side. She also didn’t seem to acknowledge the unevenness and tried to “scrunch” one side instead of properly evening it out. I asked for a different stylist, and she immediately saw the issue and fixed it quickly and evenly. The staff were friendly, but overall I was disappointed with the haircut and how the correction was handled.

My hairstylist, Tara, had great communication skills. She announced ahead of time what she need me to do, or what she was going to do. She was also personable and thorough.

We had an excellent first experience for my 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son’s first haircuts! When we were leaving our home we used the Check In service on the website to let them know we would be there in fifteen minutes, and we were greeted warmly when we arrived. Tara was so patient with both and took the time to explain to both kids what she was doing. I was impressed with how she showed my son the buzz-cutter as “tickling” so he wasn’t afraid of it! Both kids had a great experience for their first haircut, and we left with a cute certificate for both with a lock of hair. Thank you Tara for a wonderful experience! We will be back.
