First Choice Hair

I can’t say enough good things about my experience getting highlights and a trim. My stylist, Christiana was unbelievably talented, dedicated, and meticulous from start to finish. A fellow stylist, Ashley, was also incredibly helpful, kind, and reassuring. You can really tell how passionate they are about their work and how much they care about their customers. What stood out most was how attentive and patient they were at every step. Chistiana’s technique and skill was truly impressive, achieving in one session the level of lift that previously took multiple visits at a previous salon. Her commitment to getting the colour right was obvious, and she never rushed or cut corners. Christiana didn’t hesitate to stay late just to make sure everything turned out perfectly. Friendly, hardworking, and go the extra mile. Highly recommend!

Christiana is amazing and I would highly recommend her! Her expertise and detail into every part of the process is exceptional! It is obvious that she loves what she does and her friendly demeanour is a bonus! Ever since, I have had my hair done by Christiana, I have received so many compliments. My husband goes to her as well and feels the same as I do. She’s the absolute best!

The staff was pleasant, but the haircuts are not it .. not at all. I asked for a fade for my kids, and one of them got a decent fade; the other was botched. I am happy the hair grows quickly. It is also expensive for the quality. I don't think I will ever return and only recommend this place if you don't care about how your hair looks.

The staff was friendly, and efficient. So I don't want to give one star. Didn't accept cash which was kind of an inconvenience but not a big deal. The shampooing was great but once we got to the cut it kinda went down hill. I asked for a straight bob just to take some length off and showed where I wanted it cut to but also explained an inch below my chin but closer to mid neck. The stylist was pretty quick to hack away while my hair was wet. And didn't really account for shrinkage. She had cut where it lined up with my chin which wasn't what I asked for to begin with but once dry, which it wasn't when I left due to a partial blow dry it is just below my ears. I had stopped and asked if I could see how short it was mid way because I knew based off where the scissors were it was probably too late and accepted my fate. To my surprise even after lining it up with my chin more was cut off also. I also noticed before paying and leaving that it was shorter in the front and crooked which looks wack once it was dry. Not everyone has the balls to say they don't like something so I didn't say anything (but it also wasn't as bad before it dried) I'm not coming back here, I understand why I was told not to go to a 'cheap' place but it was about 50 dollars after tip for my hair to be butchered and I know hair grows back but it's frustrating when you pay for a service. I pay the same amount for a salon across town and they do an amazing job and wash, condition and blow-dry and style for that price.

Absolutely disappointed with my haircut experience. I visited a few weeks ago and had my haircut done by Christina. I asked for layers with some flicks, but what I got was a complete disaster. The cut was uneven, unflattering, and nowhere close to what I requested — I can’t even keep my hair open now because it looks that bad. Clearly, she had no idea what she was doing. She didn’t even bother spraying water on my hair, and kept detangling it dry, which was extremely painful. To make it worse, I was charged an extra $5 just because of the thickness of my hair — something I’ve never been charged for in my entire life. When I asked for layers, she kept pushing me to get a straight cut instead — almost like she was trying to avoid doing any real work or didn’t know how to do a proper layered cut. It was clear she lacked the skill. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Definitely not going back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with long thick hair looking for a great cut.
