Fine Grind Cafe

The gentleman working behind the counter today was incredible. I am assuming he is the owner, it was my first time in. He kept telling everyone to "make themselves at home" it was giving very cozy, welcome to the family vibes. I have allergies and he made me a dairy free hot chocolate and allowed me to bring in some snacks that were suitable to my diet (I called first to me make sure). This is a very safe space for women, very feminist atmosphere in terms of visitors while I was there. I have been struggling to find spaces I feel comfortable in as a woman in the area and this place is a gem. I will be returning.

Owner is lovely. This is an amazing community spot. Tea and coffee were good. Cozy space. Quiet and comfy here. Stopped in to kill some time before my hockey game in the area, and not knowing the area picked this place to come to. Lovely and will be back next time we're here.

Fine Grind is the perfect spot to cozy up with a friend and a cup of (delicious) coffee and have a nice chat. The owner is, by far, one of the kindest people I have ever met. He always makes you feel at home and taken care of. Not to mention the (wonderful!) activist feel of the place; there's a community shelf for folks to take and give from & the bathroom is stocked with free pregnancy tests and sanitary products. I love coming here with my friend. It's our regular spot! Highly recommend.

Great experience. Went there on a random morning. Ordered grilled cheese sandwich and regular coffee. Great services, reasonable prices and calm, warm place in downtown of St. Catharine. They have couple of tea and coffee options . Clean restroom. Would definitely visit again. Thank you guys

Such a cozy spot! The owner was incredibly friendly — we had a great conversation that made the visit even more memorable. I tried the grilled cheese sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly crispy and gooey. The coffee was top-notch too. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!
