Some of the best wine I’ve ever had in Niagara was discovered today at Ferox. Cubby let us on an informative and educational tasting that everyone in our group enjoyed. Incredible wines at phenomenal value. A must visit when you’re in the region.

This place was fabulous, we loved the wine selections and the staff was super friendly. We were in Canada for just the afternoon and so glad we stopped there. Took home 5 bottles that day. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: Back again for more of the terrific wines at Ferox. This time it was the Rosé that came with us. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! August 10, 2025 S, C&Y, C&J ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ferox is yet another great partner in the Friends with Benefits of Commisso Estate Winery wine club membership. Our visit this past Saturday was really lovely. David, our host, was friendly welcoming and obviously quite knowledgeable about the wines of Ferox. The indoor tasting rooms on both ground and second floor are quite cozy. Upstairs is a small balcony with a few seats looking over the vineyard. Small outdoor seating areas are at the front and side of the main building. Out back is a larger patio area for summer sipping. Some very good wines and quite a nice charcuterie board were enjoyed by our group. My positive experience with Ferox started when I booked our tasting. Cubby was very quick to get us booked for the day and time I wanted, and I'd received a confirmation email before we finished chatting. We had a wonderful afternoon at Ferox by Fabian Reis with a group of four and were truly impressed from start to finish. The setting is beautiful and welcoming, with a lovely mix of modern design and rustic charm. We started with a wine tasting and were guided by a knowledgeable and passionate staff member who walked us through each pour with detailed notes and a few fun stories behind the wines. Every glass had something special to offer, but the reds in particular stood out for their richness and balance. We also ordered food and were pleasantly surprised by the quality—everything was beautifully plated, fresh, and perfectly paired with the wines. It felt more like a fine dining experience than your typical winery lunch. Overall, Ferox delivered an elevated yet relaxed experience that made our visit memorable. Highly recommend for both wine lovers and anyone looking for a unique culinary outing in wine country!

We have been wine club members in the Niagara Region for many years and never had the privilege of visiting this wonderful winery. Only because of the Friends with Benefits wine tastings to other wineries did we even know of it. This is a hidden gem with fabulous wines. There were 6 of us and we all agreed that every wine we tasted was delicious. Red and whites. It's a pretty winery with roses on the ends of each row of vines. (Ask them why) We learned some new things too. Abby was our server, she was very knowledgeable and professional, but fun too, We were not rushed and she even took pictures for this review. Honestly, Do Not Miss this opportunity to visit. We agreed it is a 10 out of 10! Thank you!!
