We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Featherstone Winery in Niagara Falls! We were celebrating the 50th birthday of a good friend and were so happy to share these special moments with him. Our meal was delightful, and we are so grateful to the owner, Rayla, for her amazing hospitality, friendliness, and the personal tour of the winery. The ambiance was lovely, and it was clear how much time and care Rayla puts into every detail. The educational tour led by Bruce was both fun and informative. The charcuterie board was off the chart—especially the figs! Cassandra, our server, was friendly and excellent, making sure everything was perfect. Bruce was an outstanding wine connoisseur and expert, sharing his knowledge with enthusiasm and making the tasting truly special. Last, but certainly not least, Rayla, the owner, is an incredibly genuine and down-to-earth person. At no point did we feel like we were interacting with the owner—she made us feel as though we were catching up with a good friend. She thoughtfully wished our birthday friend a Happy 50th and engaged in light conversation and playful banter, making the experience even more memorable. Rayla also shared insights about the winery’s ownership, recent upgrades, and exciting plans for the future, adding a personal and educational touch to our visit. Highly recommend Featherstone Winery for anyone looking for a memorable meal, fantastic wines, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We visited for a wine tasting a few weeks ago and had a truly lovely experience. The seating overlooks the vineyard, offering a beautiful view, and there are both indoor and outdoor options. The outdoor area is thoughtfully outfitted with blankets and heaters, which was a nice touch. Each wine glass was clearly labeled with the selection, so there was no need to remember which wine was which. They also served a well-prepared charcuterie board that paired nicely with the tasting. Overall, it was a very pleasant visit. ☺️

Returned to Featherstone for wine tasting and snacks, after a long absence. Great improvement in atmosphere.. gone are the screens around the outdoor seating area, replaced by modern seating with great views. Very impressed with the quality of the wines...my wife and I enjoyed all 6 wines, even the highly sugared Reisling... Excellent service as well by our server, Natasha, who was friendly, well-informed and professional, and made our visit very enjoyable. We'll definitely be back, and let our friends know about the changes!

Featherstone is a beautifully renovated gem nestled in the heart of Vineland and the Niagara region. The scenic property makes for a really stunning backdrop, and its commitment to eco-friendly viticulture sets it apart—especially their innovative (and wholesome) use of sheep grazing in the vineyards. The wines themselves are of excellent quality, each with unique character and style. We highly recommend stopping by Featherstone! PS. The wood oven pizzas are a must-try and pair perfectly with a glass of Rosé!

We stumbled upon Featherstone Estate Winery after a lovely evening hike in the area. It was Canada Day, and most vineyard kitchens had already closed by the time we were looking for a spot — thankfully, Featherstone was still open and welcoming. The estate itself is beautiful — open, airy, and quiet, tucked away from the main road with stunning vineyard views. The server was fantastic — knowledgeable and kind. She explained which wines pair best with each pizza, and even the menu had pairing suggestions printed, which was super helpful for someone like me who’s still learning about wine. We ordered a wine flight and tried: • Gamay Noir • Fizzics • Black Sheep Riesling All three had depth and character, but I especially enjoyed the Fizzics — refreshing and bright! We ordered two pizzas: one vegetarian and one with chicken. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a letdown. While the veg pizza was good and quite flavoured, the chicken pizza lacked on that and was undercooked — doughy and disappointing. I pointed it out to the server, and while I declined a replacement, she was understanding and explained they’re currently working through staffing challenges in the kitchen. The chicken also tasted processed, which was unexpected from a winery restaurant. That said, the real highlight — aside from the wine and views — was getting to pet the sheep on the estate. It added a lovely, down-to-earth charm to the experience. With a bit of improvement on the food side, especially the pizzas, this place could easily be a top-tier vineyard stop. Still, it’s definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere, the wine, and of course, the sheep!
