Consumer service is not there strong suit upon arrival the office door was locked and there was a number on the door to call called the number no answer and after about 20 minutes of waiting around someone finally came to open the office and get us checked in once we got to our room we noticed the room was super rundown no working heat they provided us with to portable heaters and extra blankets the tv didn't work and when I went to ask someone about it they told me someone would be by in the morning so no tv the first night then we discovered ants in our bathroom when mentioned no one seemed to really care and now the worst part is I got told my deposit would be returned on my card at 11 am on check out well that never happened I'm still waiting for it a week after my visit and when I tried to call no one ever picks up so don't waste your money here there are several places to stay in the falls for the same price with better service
View on GoogleBathroom was very dirty upon arrival and the room temp was set to high, and there was no thermostat. 50 dollars and change a night was the best part. If on a budget I'd recommend.
View on GoogleYou get what you pay for. Except it must be the only motel that will tack on a parking fee ( and during the off season). I’ve stayed at many no-tell motels across North America, and this might be one of the worst.it was evident that they had made minimal repairs to a severely water-damaged structure. Scary carpeting, heat that you can’t adjust, and ants in the washroom.
View on GoogleWe booked this motel through Agoda, where parking was listed as included. However, the final bill didn’t reflect that, and we had to pay extra. It would be great if this could be clarified in advance, as it would make the check‑in experience smoother for future guests. We also encountered bed bugs in our first room. The staff responded quickly and moved us to another room, which we appreciated. Still, addressing this issue proactively would make a big difference, especially since the prices are quite affordable. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, the value of the stay could easily go from okay to genuinely good. The room keys also malfunctioned a few times, but the staff helped us reset them whenever needed. Improving the key system would definitely enhance convenience. Overall, for the amount we paid, the stay was okay to good. With a few improvements—especially around cleanliness and clarity on included amenities—this place has the potential to offer a much better experience.
View on GoogleMy Honest Review: I think this place gets a bad rap for no real reason. Honestly, I’m confused how the ratings are so low because my experience was great. This motel has a really friendly, mom-and-pop vibe, and the owners are accommodating with any reasonable request. The rooms are quaint for the price and location — still close to the Falls, right between both casinos, which makes getting around super easy. It’s also within walking distance to Clifton Hill, the Falls, and plenty of local restaurants and shops. It’s even one of the closest spots to the LCBO if you want to grab a quick drink. For the price, this place is quiet, chill, and convenient — perfect if you like having your car nearby or want to step outside for some fresh air. For a motel this old, the building is surprisingly well-kept and clean. You really do get what you pay for, and honestly, some of the negative reviews seem unfair — people shouldn’t compare a small family-run motel to a high-rise hotel and expect the same amenities. Overall, I think this place deserves more appreciation than it gets.
