Fairview 1855 Wedding Venue

We had the pleasure of working with Paige of Fairview1855 for a wedding. She was incredibly accommodating and offered us flexible setup times in the days leading up to the event. The property is stunning and feels private, situated on a large, isolated block of land with no nearby neighbors. We’re grateful to be a preferred vendor from the start, and this venue is poised to become Niagara’s most sought-after small wedding destination.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of being the very first couple to host our wedding at Fairview 1855 and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Fairview 1855 exceeded every expectation. It was very important to us that we stayed local to the Fort Erie area and finding Fairview 1855 tucked away in Sherkston was perfect! The grounds are simply stunning; the gardens and the pond provided the most beautiful, natural backdrop for our photos and ceremony. Being able to do everything at one site was perfect! It felt like a hidden oasis, yet the location was so convenient and local for our guests. There is more than enough parking for everyone located right on site as well! The number 1 compliment we got was about how beautiful the location is! As we had our wedding in early fall while it was still warm out, the location offered lots of cool shade and surprisingly no bugs! The grounds are large enough that we were able to hold our ceremony, have a tent large enough for 60+ people and take pictures without feeling like everything was on top of each other! One of the biggest highlights was the house itself. Being able to sleep our wedding party right on-site made the entire weekend feel relaxed and intimate. We didn't have to worry about transportation or rushing around—we just woke up and enjoyed the day together. Not to mention the beauty of the house itself!! The addition to detail is incredible! The kitchen was is conveniently located to make bringing out buffet items, desserts, etc super easy! Thank you to Paige and everyone for making our day so special. I had the unique opportunity recently to visit Fairview 1855 for a photoshoot and overnight stay. As soon as I drove up to the property, I knew that I was in for a treat. The manor and grounds were beautifully maintained. The house grand but not overwhelming, but inviting and calm. Inside I was struck with the attention to detail, vintage touches and authentically restored elements that Paige, the homeowner, obviously embraced. Everywhere I looked were small details that I thought added beauty and whimsy to the home, from the beautifully selected wallpaper, to the light fixtures and delicate finishes. The grounds are the perfect location for a cozy intimate wedding. So many little nooks and crannies to stage a bar, dance floor, dining area and cocktail space. The gorgeous deck overlooking the pond makes for the perfect ceremony space. I had the opportunity to share the loft bedroom with my dear friend. We nicknamed it the Stranger Things room as we were instantly whisked back to our childhoods with the ambience of the space. A tube television, VHS tapes, varsity flags and teddy bears, We felt like we were kids again having a sleepover as we tucked into our twin beds and giggled until the early morning with twinkle lights sparkling above our heads. We awoke to the pitterpatter of rain above our heads falling gently on the roof skylight. We truly felt like we were 12 again and at sleepover camp. What a magical feeling, a great escape. I must mention the main bathroom on the second floor. Paige's attention to detail in this room is immaculate. From the calming wallpaper to the unique sconces, and the perfect selfie lighting. The tile choices and the penny tiles outlining 1855 in the shower and my favourite, the faucet. Every single detail was tastefully selected with intent. Overall, I can not recommend this gorgeous venue enough. Whether its for a weekend stay with friends and family or an intimate wedding with loved ones. Fairview 1855 would be a wonderful choice. First, you are warmly welcomed and instantly immersed in nature at its best—a perfect combination of majestic trees, delightful gardens, and a serene pond at the center. You can simply sit, relax, and enjoy the soothing sound of the water fountain. The Victorian-style home truly feels like a home away from home. Paige has created a true gem, honoring the building’s historical charm while adding delightful touches in every room. Pay attention to all the incredible details—they create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that immediately enfolds you. The original piano in the music parlour is a wonderful touch, adding to the sense of peace and elegance. And for an extraordinary experience, you can enjoy a Harmonic Egg® session, making your stay even more restorative and unique. I would absolutely recommend visiting this magical place and experiencing the warmth, care, and creativity of its owners.

As a wedding photographer, I can honestly say that Fairview 1855 is an exceptionally stunning venue. This beautifully renovated Victorian home, now an Airbnb, is a true masterpiece. Every room has been thoughtfully designed with exquisite decor that perfectly blends historic charm with modern elegance. The attention to detail in every aspect of the home is evident and truly impressive. The outdoor property is just as breathtaking! Featuring a graceful willow tree, lush garden areas, and a picturesque pond with a charming dock that looks straight out of The Notebook. The scenery provides endless gorgeous backdrops for photography, making it a dream location for both weddings and retreats. From its beautifully curated interiors to the stunning natural landscapes, Fairview 1855 is a phenomenal venue. It offers a romantic, idyllic setting that enhances any special event. As a photographer, I highly recommend it for its remarkable beauty and versatile charm it’s truly a five-star gem!
