I've had two loans with the Welland office, and the staff have been terrific. If you're complaining about the high interest rate, then you shouldn't have signed the loan agreement. People love to take the money, but hate the terms after the fact.

These guys are deceptive. Don't trust them. Get a loan elsewhere and don't be stupid like me. Read it and really understand it. I thought I did and now I've got to deal with a group of people who are gonna pay you lip service. When they ask if you want "insurance" for potential job loss or disability tell them to stick it and make sure it's not added. Because when they tell you it can be removed at any time, maybe that's true... If you are lucky enough to get one of them to understand you're really not happy then they'll send you papers to sign... Then when you expect that amount to come off it never will because they're not gonna process it. I'm sure there are reasons this happens that benefit them and not you. All I wanted was to have that removed. Like I said, I get to deal with this deceptive bunch for years to come, don't make the wrong decision.

Despite making a good hourly wage, over 40 hours a week, and a good credit score I couldn't qualify for a $1500 loan. I'm not sure what kind of customers fairstone is looming for but obviously hard working blue collar workers should not apply. On top of the fact that it took over 2 weeks for a call back and nobody answers when you call this office, I would avoid fairstone. Not a good business, poor policies, and bad customer service.

I was shocked to find a promotional card sent to me in the mail to my home address! When I called to find out how they got this info, the woman on the phone said " not to worry. We've never had a complaint before". I said, maybe because you have been manipulating people too ignorant to know what their rights are and push back with you. She twisted it around and snapped back, are you calling me ignorant?" and then hung up. These people are located behind the value village beside the Seaway Mall. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED!
