Everything you want from a true mom-and-pop diner. Owners behind the grill, old-school décor that hasn’t changed in forever, solid prices, and generous portions. Loved all of it. We were going to a whiskey tasting and my cousin found this gem online in downtown Grimsby. I had the breakfast burger — a thick, juicy homemade patty, perfectly seasoned, stacked with thick-cut bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, and a runny egg on a soft bun. Absolute comfort food. My wife went with the gyro and loved it. Mama even came out to show her how to wrap it properly so none of the good stuff escapes. That kind of touch says it all..

Yikes. I don’t know how this place has such high reviews. Super deceiving. The food was cheap and cold. How do you charge 35$ for a tiny grilled cheese (kid sized that a 3 year old would eat.) on cheap white bread and fake plastic cheese. Not even a nice fresh sourdough or real cheddar. Also how do you serve cold soup and ask your customer if they are just going to warm it up at home??? And then proceed to make a joke saying you’ll charge extra for it to be warmed…. Sorry, but If I’m ordering food from a place (with a 4.7 rating) I expect it to be fresh and hot already. Especially if I am paying 35$!!! Please do not be misled by these positive reviews on this page as it does NOT speak for the food itself or restaurant itself. It’s actually quite mind-blowing!!! Save your money and go elsewhere!!

First time here and we loved it! The whole atmosphere is so homey and welcoming. Service was friendly and fast. Standard breakfast items and good portion sizes. We will definitely be returning.

What a great little gem in Grimsby for breakfast. Just like a great home cooked meal. Quality ingredients, nice serving sizes, great service staff. You can see them preparing your food and the people doing it seemed like they could be your mama or grandma. Sweet and cheerful. You do pay up at the counter on the way out (as an FYI). The bacon is delicious!.

Oh this place stole my heart, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Mama is the best, this amazing old lady is from Greece and with her welcoming and interacting character, it is impossible to not fall in love with her! The eggs were delicious, as was the rest of the food! She also gives us a bit of feta and olives, to make us feel the flavours of home! She was even able to speak a bit of Italian 🤩, she sat next to us and tell us about her story. Also the rest of the family, was super welcoming and kind. But the icing on the cake, was that she gave us a takeaway bacon for our trip. I hope to be back soon in Canada and stop by again. Thank you Mama, I wish all the best to all of you!
