Joyce and Doug were great hosts and always made us feel extremely welcomed. Breakfasts were amazing. The historic manor was very romantic and pristine. There was lots to do and most things were only 5 to 20 minutes away. We will definitely stay there again.

We spent 4 nights here in August for our honeymoon after finding online. The pool was the major draw for us, but we were delighted with everything and will surely go back. Doug and Joyce are wonderful hosts - available and always willing to help but also letting us have our space. The house itself if a gorgeous restoration of an old mansion, with so many small details to muse over. We stayed in the turret room, and it felt like something out of a fairytale. It truly felt like our home away from home. Breakfast was delicious, the pool was warm, and the porch was wonderful for having the first coffee of the morning. The location is perfectly situated to Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Falls, and the highway access. We had the most amazing time and will be back for sure.

We spent an entire week July 15-22, 2023 at this beautiful historic manor. Joyce and Doug are exceptional hostess and host. The breakfasts were amazing! Our room was gorgeous. Loved the iron bed. We stayed in the Riverview room. Spacious, clean and comfortable. We booked this location because of the proximity to both Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. We brought our bikes with us .The bicycle path is located just a short few metres from the manor allowing us to bike to either destination or tour the vineyards along the Niagara River. Joyce and Doug provided us with a shed with a lock where we could store our bikes. The property is very pretty and peaceful 2 acres of peace and quiet. We had a wonderful time/vacation and will definitely return in the future. Thank you to Joyce and Doug. Margaret & Raymond O’Connell , Cornwall, Ontario

We stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Joyce and Doug and such kind and honest hosts, who really made our stay one of the best places to stay at. Very old school charm, clean, a sense of pride and character. The room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. We really enjoyed our breakfast choices, and attention to detail. The grounds are well kept, and I enjoyed sitting on the porch hearing the birds sing and the peace and quiet in the morning. You are 10 minutes from Niagara on the lake, and 20 mins from Niagara Falls. It’s nice to be off the beaten path, and still be close to most things. If you are looking for a place that holds charm, comfort and excellent service this is the place for you. We look forward to our next visit! Thanks for everything Joyce and Doug. Sincerely, Tracey and Adrian.

We reserved the turret room on the third floor, the bed and linen were very comfortable. We enjoyed the lovely porch where we had great breakfasts while listening to the birds and admiring the beautiful gardens. There is even an indoor swimming pool! Joyce and Doug are kind and very accommodating owners. This B & B is very well located especially if you love to cycle with wineries within walking and/or biking distance. We will return for sure!
