Erie Muffler & Brake Shop Ltd

I have been dealing exclusively with Dante and Erie Muffler and Brake for all my auto repair needs for about 20 years. Never once have I experienced anything less than 5 star service everytime. I am always greeted with a friendly smile, repairs are always done proper and on time, and Dante goes above and beyond to ensure all of his customers are satisfied. I would not consider going anywhere else for my auto needs.

I am providing this review to warn potential customers about serious issues I experienced with this shop. I engaged Donte to perform three specific tasks on my truck: Install a 3-foot section of 4” straight pipe to the existing rear exhaust. Repair a broken T in the brake line system. Diagnose and resolve a battery drain issue. Despite paying $2,400, none of these tasks were completed as requested. The brake line remained improperly secured with temporary hose clamps, and I was presented with a brand-new exhaust system, front to back, which I did not authorize or approve. When I confronted the shop about the incomplete work, I was told the work had been done, which was demonstrably false. The following day, the shop claimed the brake line and battery issues were resolved. However, upon inspection, the truck would not start, demonstrating that the work was not performed properly. The shop returned $400 and became confrontational, falsely claiming funds had been given to my family—a statement that is untrue. Based on my experience, this shop engages in unauthorized work, fails to complete agreed-upon repairs, and holds customers financially responsible for mistakes caused by their own improper installations. Consumers are strongly advised to document all work agreements in writing, inspect completed work thoroughly, and exercise extreme caution before making any payment.

First time customer but will be back and will recommend! I had issues with my car and they fixed me up right away which was unexpected and greatly appreciated and it was more than fair pricing. These guys really helped me out! Thanks so much for your service Dante and staff! You run a great garage.

Shout out to Erie Muffler and Breaks in Port Colborne! Dante & Nate fixed up our Kia Sorrento. What would of been a $2300 bill for front to back exhaust including flex pipe,catilic converter, etc, They sourced parts, fabricated pipes, provided transport to and from Welland , Did a oil change & once over all for $860 tax included! We have been customers for over 20+years and have always had honest reliable service from this small business.

Best decision taking vehicle to Dante and staff. Friendly, very fair prices and excellent work. Feeling you can trust your mechanic is a great feeling.
