On Nov 12, 2025, I drove from Mississauga for a road test to upgrade my license from class G to class F. The test was is in a big parking lot. The staff arrived 15 mines before time. Officer Ryan asked detailed questions about how to perform both external and cabin inspections of the vehical. He is very serious and professional officer. His instructions were clear and attitude was polite. He took me for road test on QEW highway and local streets of St. Catherine. After we returned to the parking lot, he congratulated me on passing the road test. At the end he gave some really useful and professional tips about how to safely drive a commercial vehical. Thank you so much Ryan.

I’m sharing this review not because I passed my G2 test today, but because I genuinely want others to know about my experience. A few months ago, I attempted the direct G test based on my driving experience back home, but unfortunately, I didn’t pass. Today, I took the G2 test — and I’m happy to say I passed! My examiner was Ms. Kelsey at the St. Catharine test center, and I must say she was exceptional. Compared to my previous examiner for the G test, Ms. Kelsey was incredibly kind, calm, and composed. Her instructions were crystal clear throughout the test, which helped me feel relaxed and confident. I truly felt comfortable and stress-free during the entire experience. I believe every examiner should strive to be like Ms. Kelsey — professional, patient, and supportive. She made a big difference in my journey, and I’m grateful for that. Manav Patel.

I just passed my road test, and I wanted to share my honest experience. Before coming here, I saw many negative reviews about the instructors, especially about a lady named Brittany. People said she was rude or failed them for no reason, so I was a bit nervous. But my experience was completely different. My instructor was calm, kind, and very professional. She explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. As an immigrant, I was worried I might be treated differently, but she was very respectful and friendly the whole time. I think many people who leave bad reviews might be frustrated because they didn’t pass, but that doesn’t mean the instructor was wrong. If you follow the rules, stay calm, and drive safely, you’ll be fine. My test was fair, and I truly feel I passed because I did well — not because of luck. Overall, I had a very good experience and I am thankful to the instructor for being patient and encouraging.

I gave my G2 road test today. I misplaced my driver’s license. I went to the information counter to ask for help. The lady at the counter was rude. She said she couldn’t even give me a temporary license. Later, I asked for help at another counter. I met a nice middle-aged lady named Marisa. She was kind and helped me get a temporary license. She talked nicely and calmed me down. She really made my day. After that, I signed in and waited for the driving instructor. My appointment was at 2:09 PM, but the instructor didn’t come until around 2:38 PM. It felt like they didn’t respect my time, and I had work to do after the test. When the instructor arrived, she was a Black lady wearing a black mask. She had bangs on her forehead. From the start, she seemed impatient. She told me to go even when people were walking around the parking lot. During the test, we drove around. She told me to do parallel parking, but then said to pretend I was doing uphill parking. I didn’t understand what she meant. Luckily, the owner of the car came, and we just drove straight. While I was driving, she told me to change lanes to the left. I tried to change lanes. But from the beginning, her unprofessional behavior made me nervous. In the end, it caused me to fail the test. Message The instructor should be friendly and professional. This helps students feel less nervous or pressured. Everyone feels a little nervous during a driving test. If the instructor is calm and friendly, students will feel more confident and relaxed.

I am writing to file a formal and serious complaint regarding the unprofessional, disrespectful, and unjust behavior of the examiner who conducted my recent G2 road test. The entire experience was deeply distressing, and I believe it represents a severe violation of testing fairness and professional conduct. From the very beginning, the examiner’s attitude and words were unnecessarily harsh, inappropriate, and deeply disruptive to the examination environment. Even before the test began, she interrogated me with a stern and unfriendly tone, asking why I was standing outside my vehicle instead of waiting inside. I arrived early as a responsible candidate, ensuring I was ready and prepared for the exam. There is absolutely no rule or regulation stating that a candidate must remain seated in their car before meeting the examiner. Her aggressive questioning and attitude instantly created unnecessary stress and discomfort, negatively affecting my confidence before the test even started. During the entire test, the examiner continued to verbally disrupt and intimidate me. From the very moment we left the test centre, she repeatedly said things such as “You are driving so fast! Are you trying to hit the car in front of you?” and “Why are you driving this fast?” despite the fact that I was always within the speed limit. Her comments were not only baseless and inaccurate, but also a clear attempt to psychologically pressure and confuse me during the examination. To prove this, I have video evidence showing that I was driving safely within the legal limits, and the official test report contains no mention of speeding, confirming that there was no issue with my driving speed. This makes it clear that her remarks were completely unjustified and served only to undermine and intimidate me. Such conduct is absolutely unacceptable for a government-certified examiner. Throughout the test, I maintained full politeness, focus, and professionalism. However, her cold, dismissive, and intimidating tone made the experience extremely uncomfortable and distressing. A road test should evaluate skill and safety, not expose candidates to personal hostility or emotional manipulation. After the test, I discovered that several other examinees have had similar negative experiences with this examiner. It is extremely disturbing to know that this pattern of behavior is not an isolated incident. The damage caused emotionally and psychologically cannot be undone with a simple apology. No candidate should ever be treated in such an unfair, humiliating, and unprofessional manner. I demand that this complaint be taken with the utmost seriousness. It is my first time to take an G2 test, and im completely disappointed. It is completely unacceptable to be treated with such unfairness. The examiner in question should be investigated immediately, and appropriate disciplinary action should be taken including termination to ensure no other examinee endures such treatment again. I don’t want an official apology, as the distress and time wasted due to this examiner’s misconduct is already done. I just want a fair result, and I demand this examiner to receive what she deserves, which is immediate termination. This experience has severely damaged my trust in the fairness and integrity of the DriveTest system. I sincerely hope the management will act responsibly to restore public confidence by addressing this matter thoroughly and transparently. Everything I stated is completely real, and it is a shared experience among other test taker. I hope it is treated with seriousness.
