Dr. Ralph Saari Optometrist

Dr. Saari and his wonderful staff have been so helpful, understanding and engaging. He explained to my grandson why he needed his glasses and how they would help him. My granddaughter loved to go and see Dr. Saari. He found an issue with my eyes and addressed it right away - he explained what my future options would be. If I ever move back to Welland and his officr is still open, I would hope to be able to return to his care.

Dr. Saari is amazing! Easy to talk to, thorough and meticulous. He made me feel really comfortable and explained my issues in a way that I completely understood. This was a first time visit and as a life long glasses model I hope to visit him again in 2 more years 😊

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. The positive reviews here misled me to see this doctor. Dr. Saari Sr. was booked to see a problem with the eye and did a routine exam instead. Didn't even see or address the problem that was an obvious one and just suggested a prescription for glasses. When asked about the problem, he said to book another appointment for that. I asked for a referral to a previous optometrist and they sent it to the wrong fax number twice which I discovered 2 weeks later only because I asked where it was sent to and learned it was the wrong number. The other doctor sent directions to advise me to go to ER asap but they didn't inform until 1 week later. Very poor service. Very bad experience.

He is a brilliant doctor, so lovely with children and truly honest with his patients.

Super thorough, professional, and all the newest and up-to-date fancy machines and equipment! Being a father and grandfather, he's really great with the kids too! And that lab manager Thalia knows her stuff and is very helpful in picking glasses and options on lenses. Great selection and quality (not like Walmart cheap junk) of frames and prices all seem to be competitive. Highly recommended
