Domaine Le Clos Jordanne

Our visit to Le Clos Jordanne in Beamsville was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The setting alone is stunning, peaceful, refined, and intentional in every detail. You can feel the care that goes into everything they do. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Jayda. She didn’t just walk us through a tasting, she created an experience. The way she explained each wine, the land, the process, and the subtle differences between them felt thoughtful and engaging. She made it approachable without losing depth, and you could feel her genuine passion. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something elevated and meaningful, not just a quick tasting.

I went here a couple of days ago, on a very snowy day! I can't recall the exact names of the wines I had, a Pinot and a white (particularly liked the white) but what stood out the most was the coziness, good taste and decoration of this place, the beautiful view from the window and the stellar service of the gentleman (whose name I can't remember) that was the perfect host. He acted in a gentle fashion but as if he was home, telling the story about each wine in a way that made them so much more appealing, on how they came to life, with his personal take on the wine, with no berries or ripe fruits talk about them. Wonderful experience and with a much more personalized feel!

I first tried their wine a decade ago with my sister over dinner in Toronto — we were both stunned by how good their Pinot Noir was. And then, just like that, they stopped producing. Fast-forward to last year when I spotted their bottles back at the LCBO on a road trip to NYC I grabbed one and took it to a friend in NYC, who couldn’t believe wine that good was just across the border. I was visiting a work site in Beamsville and realized we were 6 mins drive away and said to my husband “We have to go before they close.” Well… they’re back. And wow. The vineyard building is gorgeous, the staff are genuinely lovely, and as it turns out, ordering a few bottles in October for our Thanksgiving dinner made me a wine-club member without even realizing. My husband gives their Clos de Kew Chardonnay two thumbs up. I’m officially in love with their 2021 Claystone Terrace Pinot Noir. They also offer a French-inspired charcuterie plate for two — house-made country pâté, local cheeses, and the perfect excuse to linger a little longer and enjoy the view. Highly recommend

I had the most amazing experience doing a flight at Domaine Le Clos on a Holiday Monday. Jen suggested wines and went out of her way to help me understand the variety offered- even simplifying the sommelier language to ensure I understood the undertones. I can’t wait to come back, this place is so picturesque and not to be missed!

Beautiful winery! They close at 6pm which was a big plus because many wineries in the region close at 5pm. Very nice indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the wine tasting. Staffs are very friendly and she gave us a free sampling of the wine that we bought. Highly recommended!
