Went in to get some pokemon cards that were listed as ‘in stock’ on their website. Was told yes we have them but they’re on the other side of the store. I said ok, can you go grab them? Nope they wouldn’t go and grab them. Very weird interaction, and there was 2 people in the store, so one could have gone to the ‘customer restricted side’ and the other could have watched cash. Wouldn’t recommend or would call and ask if the products in stock are ones on the side of the store you, as a customer, can access. That way you avoid wasting your time like I did.

This store is great! So clean and the staff is super friendly. Also, they have a way bigger selection of products than the other, big franchise Dollar Store. Shop Local and support small business!!!

Really very good store to visit. Nice and quality stuff. Best store in smithville to visit. Well maintained & cleaned. Kudos to staff.

Had the owner yell at me for taking pictures of product to send to my niece asking what toy she would like. I left without purchasing anything. I will not be back. Edit for response from owner: The owner is clearly a liar. 🤥 you really think I took pictures of 2000+ product within the 3 minutes of being there? I took 5 pictures. The weirdo sits in the back and watches the cameras, and assumed wrong, the owner came out from the back room and literally yelled at me and told me that I cannot take pictures of anything. I left immediately after that confrontation. Maybe you as the owner shouldn’t assume what people are doing and not everyone is out to get you. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I stopped by Tim Hortons and this dollar store was across from it. My kids wanted a snack so I told them to go inside and pick something out while I get my coffee. When I came into the store a few minutes later, I saw an older man (store manager) following my kids around the store. I presume he thought my kids were there to steal stuff. The man was startled to see me come up and ask them which snacks they picked out. Came up to the cash register to pay and the cashier didn't know the price of the snacks. There was also no price tag on the snacks or the box they were from. After 2 minutes of waiting the same man came up and gave a price which was double compared to Dollarama. Lesson learned. Never coming here again. Dollarama is just a minute drive down the street.
