Called to see if an seasonal item was in stock, she said I’m not sure, I stated I would appreciate if she could check for me and I have no problem holding, she put the phone down (I could hear her texting * phone volume on* then 3 seconds later said no - that’s okay, drove to the store and they gave a full shelf … (the item was a baking trays)
View on GooglePlenty of items on for a good price. Quality is hot or miss. Snacks used to be so well priced. Now it's not that competitive anymore. Clean store. Friendly staff. No credit card surcharge. Plenty of free parking. Carts available and always clean.
View on GoogleAt Dollar Tree (Vansickle Rd.), I saw an employee deny service to a customer with a service dog, claiming they ‘didn’t look disabled.’ The customer was clearly humiliated and treated unfairly despite disclosing their disability and the dog’s role. Businesses should not treat customers like this; it’s discrimination and against Ontario Human Rights Code. Disgusting employees.
View on GoogleI’ve been shopping at this store for some time now. Generally, I come for basic things I need, and overall, the store is good. However, there is a woman working here — she is heavy-set, ties her hair tightly, has blue eyes and pale skin, and always wears a mask. She consistently treats me with rudeness and lacks the basic courtesy expected when dealing with customers. I do not know why she behaves this way. I don’t know her outside this store at all. She isn’t only rude to me but also to my children. I’m not sure if she’s racist or has a problem with our skin color or appearance. Today, when I came to shop, she followed me around the store wherever I went. Firstly, if she thinks we are some kind of homeless family trying to steal one-dollar items, she needs to rethink that — this store isn’t selling diamonds. Secondly, behavior like this from staff causes businesses to lose customers. Unfortunately, I do not know her name, but I will not spend my money here again if she is working. There are many other beautiful and larger stores where I can shop, including many other Dollarama locations nearby. I kindly request that management speak with employees like her who hide half their face behind a mask and treat customers badly. If this woman truly were a kind person, she wouldn’t need to hide her face.
