DB Schenker

After our experience with the customs broker DB Schenker, I was left with so many questions boggling my mind. 1. Why would one open a business or seek to provide a service knowing very well he/she won't do it to his/her level best. While we all understand that transit of goods occurs 24/7, it is unfathomable why not have a personnel(s) working to clear the shipments after hours and on weekends. Is it because of cost? well, have at least one or two people working and who can respond to calls and emails sent by carriers or drivers. Found it lacking that all the schenker contacts lead you to the same destination. Telling you 1.we are closed and our work hours are from 8 am -4 pm Monday to Friday. 2. Asking you to leave a voice message and that a schenker rep will reach out to you in 24hrs. So my query is, what happens to those carriers who pick up their loads a little late and are not able to submit the paperwork before 4 PM on a Friday? Do they have to wait until a business day for them to cross the border? Carriers and drivers go through a lot on the road before that load gets to its destination. A help like clearing the load signifies a lot. I understand that this process may take a while but at least clear the shipment or be reachable. In our case, we submitted the paperwork for clearance before 4 PM on a Friday, but still didn't clear until Monday. No response to our calls nor reply to our emails. To that effect, we cancelled the other scheduled loads that the driver was supposed to pick and lost money..just like that! My bothersome is why can't they have a person answering calls or at least reply to emails. My deducement 1. If you can, please avoid them. 2. If you must use.. be prepared and buckle properly for the ride.

The worst broker in the market. They don't pick up calls or check their email. They are extremely slow. Please stay away from this broker. We sent the paperwork at 10am and they haven't cleared the load at 10pm.

By far the worst customs broker ever! This company is garbage. Had sent them my documents in the morning at 10:00 a.m. & they had still not got the load cleared even by 10:00 p.m. In fact, had to layover at the border for more than 8 hours because some manager had to “authorize the load”. What was the manager doing on the previous day? Strongly advise businesses/trucking companies to stay away from this broker.

Poor service

Absolutely the Best DB Schenker, they will get your shipment done. Especially Kira she is the best employee there period. Thank You Kira.
