We were involved in organizing a friend's funeral at Cudney's. The service was outstanding. Murray was compassionate, professional, respectful and kind. Other staff at the funeral home were very helpful. We changed plans at the last minute and people stayed after the service much longer than expected. I know this put some stress on the staff but they were all gracious to us. Our friend's wishes for his service and burial were met and we were grateful that the experience was not very stressful at all for us. Thank you, Cudney's Funeral Home.

Unfortunately, our experience at a very stressful time, was not what we had hoped. I called on a Monday morning at 830 am to advise of a death of a loved one who had prepaid their funeral at Cudney. No one answered the phone. I called again at 9 am and someone answered but said they did not really know answers to my questions. They would have someone call me back. At 1030, with still no call back, I called AGAIN and someone finally answered. We were told by the Funeral Director the Family Care Administrator would be helpful and I should call them. The next day, when I called the Family Care Administrator, I had to leave a message as no one answered. When they called me back, and I asked some questions, they told me "they didn't know those answers as they worked from home. Only the people who worked at the Funeral home would know those answers". There was no attempt to get the answers for me and call me back. The expectation was that I would make yet another call to the Funeral Home. In our case, the Funeral home did not alert the government agencies of the death. When it was left to me to contact the various agencies, government employees indicated that the Funeral homes usually do this for families. Not in this case unfortunately. I asked I be made aware of when the ashes of my loved one were to be interred. To date, I have not heard back from them. I will not be trusting my final arrangements to this Funeral Home as I would want my remaining family to have their stress reduced in this time. Unfortunately, my experience with Cudney only added to my stress.

The team at Cudney's Funeral Home are very warm, caring, kind, sincere and professional. 💓 The space is very welcoming and peaceful. 🕊 Joe, Murray, and Shirley, I can't say enough nice things about this team!🥰 They helped us navigate through our very sad and difficult time of planning a funeral with the utmost compassion, kindness, and understanding. They were very accommodating when working out the details for my Mother-in-law's funeral which had intricacies that involved the service being held in St.Catharines and the final resting place being in Toronto. Every detail from start to finish was implemented flawlessly! I would highly recommend this business and wonderful team as your first choice. They treat you like family! Just amazing the service we received. The whole experience at the saddest time in our lives was handled with kindness and sincerity. Our particular case involved my beloved Gary's brain being transported to Toronto General Hospital for Alzheimer Research and within three hours of his passing he was being received in Toronto by a team of Neuro Pathologists.
