Crunch Fitness - Upper Centennial

If I could give zero stars.. I would. The manager at this gym is shockingly rude, unprofessional, and completely unfit for a customer-facing role. They consistently speak to both members and staff with condescension and attitude, creating an uncomfortable and hostile environment for everyone around them for no reason. A gym is supposed to be a place where people feel welcomed and supported — not judged or talked down to. It’s honestly baffling how someone with such poor people skills is in a management position. Many people have expressed how uncomfortable they feel, which says a lot. I’ve heard that many members have canceled their memberships, and several staff members have either been wrongfully terminated or have quit because of him as well. The gym itself needs work, but no equipment or amenities can make up for leadership that treats paying members like an inconvenience. Management seriously needs to reevaluate who they put in charge. :)

awful gym n always renovating !!! many of my friends have been coming here for 4 years n we cancel cus of manager, constant renovations n atmosphere. they push u to hold ur account, but why? we get cus the gym needs to make money but do not force a member to keep it. 3-4 months ago my best friend n i were waiting in line one morning n it was busy.. we overheard the person in front of us trying to cancel n once they did. the manager who has long hair was getting upset with the person in the front cus the person cancelled.. how is that their fault?? n why are u making a fuss about it in front of everyone? hes so unprofessional n weird. he made us uncomfortable so we left n came back weeks late to cancel instead. a month passes, mind u fyi, i cancelled already n STILL GETTING CHARGED !!! i was told it was a systems mistake but i never got refunded until a few days ago .. this place rlly hit rock bottom when they switched out their old manager who was a women /: came back as a guest yesterday with my bf n i heard these other kids saying how one of their friends got fired here cus the manager didnt like them… honestly im not surprised anymore… seems like hes the type where the way he treats his receptionist n members is whatever mood hes feeling that day. n if he doesnt like u, then goooddddluck !! u can be the nicest gym member, the nicest receptionist, nicest cleaner, nicest maintenance, nicest PERSON n he’ll want to ruin ur day just “cus” he doesnt like u.. :) pls grow up ! ur a miserable old man. dont work somewhere if u hate people honestly u MUST read the reviews before getting a membership here ! there are many reviews of the manager but they still continue to keep him even tho there are bad reviews about him. what a terrible gym, worst crunch in hamilton ! they dont care about real feedback.. cant believe i ever even gave money to this terrible place. for me to leave after only paying 12$ a month cus of the atmospher, says a lot about that. never coming back here anymore.. and STOP EMAILING ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ! how many times have i called crunch to remove my email yet i got spam calls even after i left

The gym itself needs to close and actually finish the renovations. The staff were nice at least, but very outdated and unorganized gym equipment. A lot of the cardio machines are out of use, bathrooms shouldn’t even be open in the current state. And the “hidden” fees when you are signing up for a monthly membership but still pay a yearly fee, plus an extra processing fee’s. Some crunches are better, but this one is very poor experience overall.

Do not fall for the 13$ monthly fee it has Secret fees, dont bother, they will tell you that you owe 80$ then charge you another 30$ just because. They just want your money, the machines rarely work and the layout keeps changing and getting worse. This place isnt worth it, they dont care about you at all. The manager or one of the workers also was being an unprofessional to my brother. The place is dirty and rundown. You'd think with all the money they take for maintenence it'd go into repairs but I guess not.

This gym does not fit as Stoney Creek is a nice area. The Gym is old and dingy, the equipment is also old and rusted, some of the machines are broken. The change room is also outdated. Not worth the membership needs a serious update and new equipment and machines.
