Coppola's Ristorante & Banquet Facility

We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience tonight. Carly (our server) was wonderful. Accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. She offered a wine, soon to be on the new wine list. Batasiolo Bosc D’la Rei Muscato, (our new favourite) we ordered, calamari cooked to perfection, soup, salad and two pasta dinners (with allergy modifications) happy to accommodate. An unexpected perfect evening. We will definitely be back and asking for Carly. Well done!

I normally don't leave reviews, good or bad but the service was so disappointing that I felt I had to this time. My husband and I go to Cappolas frequently and have always had a great experience until this last time on Friday 2-13-26. Our waiter Daryl rushed us from the moment we sat down. I could understand if they were busy but there were a lot of empty tables while we were there. We have never been rushed even when the restaurant has been busy. I had just sat down and picked up the menu and Daryl was already asking if we were ready to order. This was before he even took our drink order. In less then a 5 minute time frame he approached us 2 more times asking if we were ready to order even though I still had the menu in my hand. He never asked us if we wanted any appetizers and never went through the specials of the day. After we had already placed our order, we heard the waiter at the table next to us going over the daily specials with his table. At that time my husband said, oh, I would have liked that. We were not going to put out the kitchen though by changing our order. I ordered a steak and was never asked how I wanted it cooked or what side dish I wanted. As Daryl turned to walk away from the table, I said to him dont you want to know how I want my steak and don't I get a soup or salad with that. He turned around and said yes, what kind of salad do you want. I had to ask what kind of soup was on because he totally skipped that. When my steak came it was supposed to have a crab stuffed mushroom on top but that was left off. I never said anything and that is on me but I was already disappointed with the service and just wanted to get out of there. My husband and I boxed up the majority of our food and left. The food was still delicious but the service was something to be desired.

We had my Dad’s 80th birthday party at Coppola’s. There were 16 of us. We had antipasto platter (the arancini were mouthwatering!), pasta (you have to try the tortellini), salads, and for our mains some had the salmon, others the beef filet or chicken, all were excellent. The service was exceptional and each dish was delicious. They catered to our food allergies too. Most guests took leftovers home. Such a lovely place to dine at & a great value as well. Highly recommend!

Company arranged Christmas party here, food quality was great, Server was nice, washroom was clean, one suggestion is as an Italian restaurant, they could serve bread faster, we sat there more than 20minutes, they didn't bring us bread, although we had our drinks pretty fast. overall, it's a good one, will come with family again

Great selection of Italian food. The seafood and pasta dishes are tasty, fresh and huge. There is a great selection of appetizers but don't overboard with the apps because you need to leave room for the entrees. The dessert and coffee options are very good.
