It's a little off the beaten path however we had a king room with jacuzzi, the staff are friendly and the motel is clean also very quiet not busy at all. This could be a bad thing for them business wise but I just think its because of its location. We had to leave at 4am before breakfast but the front desk staff made sure we had something before we left, fresh fruit toast cereal yogurt, juice coffee or tea. Will return again
View on GoogleI needed a taxi to take me to the United States border so that I could clear my product through USA customs and the gentleman behind the counter of the Comfort Inn in Fort Erie, Ontario, provided me with what he said were taxi numbers that he recommended. These taxi numbers were in an acrylic sign at their front desk. When the taxi arrived, it was a very decrepit unmarked vehicle. The gas tank was taped shut. The car was filthy, it was rusted out, inside the car the check engine light was on, and the fuel gauge wasn’t working. Things were taped together on his dash too. It was not branded as a taxi, it was not an Uber either. The driver, who said his name was Charlie, took me to a border crossing, but I later discovered he dropped me off at the back entrance of the Canadian border building. What he did was park in the parking lot of a restaurant and walk me over to an unmarked door where he told me I had to ring a doorbell and then he quickly ran back to his car after he dropped my bags on the sidewalk. Apparently, I was at the back of the Canadian border building. I was at the wrong place, I was not allowed in that building and there was no way for me to get help immediately. I had a large hockey bag (no wheels), a large suitcase, a carry on bag and my personal bag with me so there was no way I could manage them all by myself (I am 66 years old). I stood there freezing outside for almost an hour in a snowstorm before a legitimate taxi company sent a driver to collect me. Why would Comfort Inn align themselves with third-party taxi companies that put people in danger? That’s my question. They put my life in danger!!! Thank goodness for Lexi at your front desk that helped me by giving me the contact number for that taxi company. I was sobbing when I called the hotel for help. (Photo shows where I was left and you can see some of my bags.)
View on GoogleWill stay again. Everything worked well for us. Clean, we even got extra towels, nice surprise. I like my coffee in the morning. Good coffee bar. Staff was awesome, wave and hello , small talk. Thanks for a no stress weekend. 😉
View on GoogleCheck in quick and painless. Rooms were clean. Bed and bedding were really comfortable. Best part of our stay was Trish at the front desk - what a caring, funny, friendly, helpful person with personality plus. A real asset to the hotel experience.
View on GoogleI’ve always enjoyed Comfort Inn at other locations, but unfortunately my recent stay at Comfort Inn Fort Erie was disappointing. Rooms were not ready despite confirming in advance, staff interactions often felt rude and dismissive (with the exception of one kind staff member, Trish), and we encountered bugs in one of the rooms, bad odors in the hallways, and a lobby restroom that had been out of order for over a week. My brother was even bitten by bugs during the night (pictures attached), which raised serious concerns. Customer service felt lacking from check-in to check-out. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, as Comfort Inn usually sets a much higher standard.
