Check-in initially went smoothly, and the front desk staff at arrival were pleasant. Unfortunately, what happened later completely ruined our comfort experience. The hotel clearly sold more parking spots than were available. We were told we had in-and-out parking privileges, but when we returned from dinner that evening, there were no parking spots left at all. We went to the front desk for assistance and were instructed by a staff member to park beside a snowbank — in a location that was blocking other vehicles in. We were uncomfortable doing so, but followed the directions we were given. As we were walking back to the lobby, another employee named Carol began yelling at us for parking there. We calmly tried to explain that we had been told by staff to park in that exact spot, but she did not listen and instead sped off before we could finish speaking. She left in a red Toyota Corolla that has a noticeable exhaust leak. Being given conflicting instructions and then publicly yelled at for following staff directions is unacceptable. Overselling parking and failing to communicate internally reflects poor management and lack of professionalism. While check-in was good, this incident completely undermined what should have been a comfortable stay. We left feeling stressed, embarrassed, and disrespected. I would not recommend staying here unless parking is better managed and staff are properly trained in communication and accountability.
View on GoogleRooms are very small, for a hockey tournament it will work but for anything else I would look for a different hotel. The staff were great and everything else was good. The rooms are small. The pool is an ok size good for the kids. Next year we might look into a different hotel. Parking was crazy not alot of spots.
View on GoogleGoogle says this hotel is a 4 Star hotel. I don't know who or how this is calculated, but no way. This place is barely a 3 star hotel. Hotel and rooms are pretty plain. My room was a King with basic amenities. No closet or coat hooks at the entrance. Floor was replaced and now has vinyl wood look. The furnishings and room were basic and a bit tired looking. The bed was pretty comfortable though. The bathroom had a weird shaped tub that was on an angle and as such a bit awkward to shower in. The toilet was so low to the ground and definately wasn't the modern chair height. Breakfast was included and served in the basement. Good selection of hot foods including pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon. Parking was extra ($20) and the hotel doesn't seem to be able to accomadate all the cars as people were pretty much parked all over the place once all the spots filled up. The hotel really isn't located near the falls but is close enough to the major attractions. For the price, I think you get what you pay for. Too bad that there's so much that's added in additional taxes (MAT) and hotel fees - another 20% or so.
View on GoogleWe recently stayed at Comfort Inn Niagara Falls and booked two rooms. Both rooms were very nice and clean. Complimentary coffee was available in the room, and the washroom was well stocked with lotion, soap, shampoo, and shower cap (we just had to ask separately for toothpaste). The lobby amenities were a lovely touch — complimentary coffee, warm water, ice, lemon water available all the time, and cookies on arrival, which we really appreciated. Although we didn’t use the swimming pool, we saw many kids and families enjoying it, and it is heated, which is great. All the staff were humble, polite, and respectful — from the receptionists to the maintenance staff (unfortunately I don’t know his name, but he was very kind , talking to my kids ). Even though the lobby area is small, we were able to wait comfortably for our ride without any disturbance. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. We truly enjoyed it. We were seated until 9:55 AM, and just before closing, the chef lady personally came out and asked every table if we needed anything else and how the food was. That gesture really stood out — she was very kind and attentive. Overall, our stay was pleasant, comfortable, and stress-free, and we would definitely stay here again. One small suggestion: if possible, adding turkey or chicken sausage as a breakfast option would be wonderful. Currently, there are pork sausages and bacon, which limits choices for guests who don’t eat pork. Thank you for a lovely experience!
View on GoogleRooms are newly renovated and are okay. Tv still runs on cable. Rooms felt smaller. Washroom is good. Service is good. Kids enjoyed heated pool. Breakfast is good 7-8am. Then onwards it was crowded. 20$ Charges for parking was not justified. Could have been made free for hotel guests as we are paying so much for stay already.
