The Brut IPA was super refreshing and the cajun chicken wrap was delicious. It was slow on a Wednesday afternoon but a great stop nonetheless for a quick lunch while on the road

Great experience. Nice ambiance. Tables are spread out nicely so you don't feel crowded. Good music at level that allows conversation. Great beer selection. Good service and amazing food.

Went here and got the Apricot Hot wings and my friends had their pulled pork poutine (huge portion)! Wings were so crispy and perfectly cooked. Very hospitable team and lovely decor. Will be coming back!

Cold Break Brewing is a fantastic spot in St. Catharines that really nails the brewery experience. I came in on a Thursday for $10/lb wing night. They also had trivia going on (I didn’t join, but the energy in the room was great). My server, McCalla, was friendly and attentive, making the visit even better. The space itself is really cool! You can see the brewing tanks in the back, and they’ve got a big chalkboard wall with their rotating tap list and weekly specials. They also have a fridge full of beer-to-go, which is super convenient. Food-wise, the wings were crispy and packed with flavor, and the fries were fresh, golden, and addictive. Pairing them with their house brews was the perfect combo. They’ve got a solid menu that balances pub classics with a few elevated options, plus an impressive tap list ranging from easy-drinking lagers to more adventurous IPAs and seasonal releases. Overall, Cold Break has a welcoming vibe, great beer, and tasty food. It’s definitely a spot I’d recommend whether you’re stopping in for a pint, grabbing some wings, or picking up cans to take home.

We recently hosted our wedding reception at Cold Break, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Sophie, our coordinator, was absolutely amazing! So easy to work with, incredibly organized, and always quick to answer questions or put our minds at ease. She made the whole planning process seamless. The food was a huge highlight of the night. We had a mix of apps (buffet style), mains with table service (perfectly cooked steak, salmon, and vegan options), and late-night snacks (sliders, pizza, and more). The kitchen did an outstanding job, and front of house delivered amazing service. Every single guest commented on how delicious everything was, the quality and speed of service were top-notch. For a brewery with a casual vibe, the menu exceeded expectations and truly elevated the evening. Of course, the beer was fantastic, and the seltzers were a big hit with our crowd too. On top of that, the Cold Break team handled setup and cleanup beautifully, which gave us more time to actually enjoy our big day instead of worrying about details. We’re so grateful to Sophie and the entire team for making our wedding reception everything we hoped for and more. We would absolutely recommend Cold Break to anyone looking for an event venue that’s fun, flexible, and delivers an unforgettable experience.
