Coco Bar & Mexican Grill

Very unprofessional We booked the party room for my birthday and my boyfriend's birthdays since our birthdays are a day apart. We are professional, respected, well known DJs. We had our own equipment, all our friends are DJs from all over and even Ohio that were going to come and also DJ, are own MC, Could've brought them a ton of business. Owner texted us the date and said it was booked for us and would NEVER reply to our messages with any more info. We went to the bar and the waitress called him and he told her to tell us it's still booked, he just has been "busy" is why he hasn't replied. THAT was a month ago and we booked this 2 months ago. Still no replies on any messages going forward. My boyfriend has sent him a recent message and I know he has all his messages marked as unread but the owner obviously read it when we saw the 3 dots as he was replying...then stopped and back to being ignored. We wanted to start making flyers as we are running out of time and would've made it open to the public to enjoy and dance and have a night to remember. Our crowd would've been a positive happy crowd. If he didn't want us booked for that day or booked someone else and didn't know how to tell us? Be professional and just tell us so we can move forward and find a venue. Oh well someone elses business gets to enjoy what we bring to the table. I advise if you are looking for a venue. DO NOT go to this place!!!

Coco Bar & Mexican Grill is an amazing spot for great food, drinks, and entertainment. The atmosphere is lively and fun, with live performances and dancing that really bring the place to life and make it perfect for a night out. The food is flavorful and fresh, with authentic Mexican dishes and generous portions. The cocktails especially the margaritas are top-notch and perfectly made. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from start to finish. If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food, great drinks, live entertainment, and a high-energy vibe, Coco Bar & Mexican Grill is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Food was great , authentic tacos with an impressive variety of sauces. They offer wings and chicken strips for the picky kids. Atmosphere was very much a bar though. Not sure I'd want to take the family after 5 o clock. Entrance smells very strongly of cigarettes. Almost turned around because of the smell.

When I first walked in, the vibe was definitely local watering spot with dim interior and a really “bar and live music venue” feel. I admit, I was sceptical about the food here until I was served and just had that feeling of legit was looking at the food. The fajitas were stellar, and I wished immediately that I ordered something a little more true to form Mexican. Bartender was friendly and chatty and their selection of house made pico and salsas were tasty and super spicy! Worth coming back for the food and service as long as you don’t mind the local bar vibe.

We’ve been craving an authentic Mexican restaurant - this one is run by Mexicans!!! Our first visit here since the turnover, ordered tinga tacos and quesadillas. The accompaniments of salsa and picantes was worth it. The pineapple/habanero picante was perfect.
