Staff and doctors are consistently friendly and efficient. Jen specifically is the best! And Dr. Singh is so kind and gentle with our pets. Appointments are generally same day or next day, which is so awesome! We show up for appointments and never have to wait more than a minute or two, which we appreciate. Our dog Bree recently had surgery and it was handled flawlessly. Thanks for everything you do guys! PS your new extended hours are amazing!

Staff is very friendly. The vet is very gentle and concerned for My dog. He is very informative about what the dog requires for a healthy life. I would recommend Clarence Street Vet Clinic.

IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS I WOULD !! this is a long review to explain my rating, so others please read it to the end to warn you not to go to this clinic. To begin with Dr Singh (how ever you spell it) was scared of my chocolate lab, when he would go into the examination room he come in rather abruptly and this set my dog off into defense mode. Instead of greeting my dog he go right to him and start touching him and my dog does not like that so he would growl at the vet and which led my dog to be muzzled and that made the appointment worst. My dog had bad anxiety when he got home and threw up. Onto another appointment which was for my dog panting, having issues getting up on furniture and I wanted two lumps biopsied . Dr Singh ran a bunch of test and biopsied the WRONG LUMPS !!! instead of the two I wanted done he did three and all were wrong. He also did not do a needle biopsy he did the one where he cut him open and cut some sample from him without my permission. Of course that cost me more but he should of at least tried a needle biopsy first. 1500.00 later only to find out my dog had minor arthritis staring in his left hip. Ok so when my dog first got to the clinic they always weigh them. My dog weighed 95 pounds , we were only told to not give him sugary food because he was borderline diabetic. Nothing was ever mentioned or suggested for my dog to lose weight and if it was suggested I WOULD OF. I took my dog to a new vet (who he has no problem with ) my dog now weighs 96 lbs so a one pound weight gain in three years . but I was told his is overweight by 16 lbs and by losing this weight will help a lot with his arthritis. My dog now has chronic arthritis just in three years after being diagnosed with minor arthritis. I gave him supplements on my own without it being suggested from Dr Singh. Ok so while my dog was still in the care of Dr Singh before recently changing vets I called to get his heart guard for heart worm. I was told by the receptionist that this will be the last time they will prescribe heart guard without a heart worm test. I try to keep the cost down as much as I can so I do not have to surrender my dog due to high vet cost. My dog is 10.5 years old and I only did one heart worm test. So so much for the well being of my dog's health to tell me after this year they will no longer prescribe him heart guard if I do not get his heart worm test done. Dog's health obviously does not come first at this clinic , only the clinics pocket book. I was very lucky I found a place online to get his heart guard at a way lower cost. Clarence street vet wanted 130.00 plus tax for heart guard, I got it for 55.00 no taxes and it is heart guard. Talk about a massive mark up. Ok now the last thing that just was absurd was when I called to get my dogs records transferred over to the new vet, I was told by the receptionist that Dr Singh was on holidays and wont be back until the end of the week and they need his permission and sign off on his records so this meant my dog's new vet appointment was not going to happen until Dr Singh signed off on his records. I explained to the receptionist if the vet office does not get his records they will not see him ( I completely understand that ) but the receptionist didnt care and said I cant help you. The new vet office called Clarence Street vet and was able to get them to transfer them over and I was told they have NEVER heard of any vet clinic refusing to transfer records without the vet signing off of them. So I made the best decision to switch vets . Jen who works at Clarence Street vet as a vet tech is awesome. She was great to my dog. Go to another vet clinic if you want the well being of your animal to come first before this clinics pocket book.
