City of Thorold Community Pool

Please, please, please have your lifeguards watch everyone in every spot of the pool. If the pool has shallow, middle, and deep, have them in each place. Because of this something was missed that should have been caught and dealt with appropriately. A child could have died, literally.

Nice community pool located in Richmond Street Park. The facilities are clean, the water is well-maintained, and there’s plenty of space for families to enjoy a swim. Staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s a great spot to cool off in the summer. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, and the opening hours aren’t always the most convenient, but overall it’s a solid community pool that serves the area well.

I cannot say enough positives about Jessica the Aquatic Supervisor's positive, helpful caring energy. She represents the city of Niagara/Thorold very well. I hope they recognize the value in her. I signed my granddaughter up for the 2 week pre school 1 session based on Jessica's guidance. It was the perfect class and learning experience for her. Danica her swim instructor was meant to teach kids. Her calm friendly and helpful guidance made the kids feel safe. You could notice the progression of each kid by the end of the 2 weeks. The kids learned but had fun as they were always smiling. My granddaughter took to Danica's teaching style and is now ready for Pre school 2. I would like to thank Jessica and Danica for such a positive experience. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

I’m shocked at some of the negative comments. I personally love it. I totally understand not taking pictures there. Respect of other people‘s children. I love that they have all size lifejackets so you don’t need to bring your own. The only downside is their hours I think are a little funny when it comes to the public ,All in all absolutely love it. Pool’s always warm not freezing cold. I love that they play music. I love that the shallow end is extremely shallow like a resort.

Great big pool! It is accessible to all people including those with wheelchair. I love the waiting pool entrance to the pool. Makes it more enjoyable for my 6 year old with Down Syndrome.
