Terrible experience. Went tonight for the Scream 7 fan event. Notice I said fan event here. Arrive about 20 minutes before the pre-credits would show. Line up for concessions, at least 50-60 people infront, which for the bigger theatre in Niagara Falls I get, should have arrived earlier. Want to get the Popcorn or Drink exclusive for scream 7. Again, I said FAN EVENT. A few of these were givin when ordered, some people headed towards the theatre but notice some others heading back outside. Ok maybe putting in the car so it's not in the theatre. 15 minutes and non of the people came back in... Weird.... 5 minutes past the start of the opening commercials, 1 person infront of us waiting, the person infront of them bought the popcorn exclusive and walked out the door. Person behind the counter calls out "No More Exclusives, all sold out" get to the counter and Inquire. Was told "first come first serve" I say, excuse me, first come first serve, so the real fans, the ones who bought tickets don't have a real chance to get them? " Response " sorry, first come first serve, that's how it is, don't matter about tickets" What a load of crap that is. Good going Cineplex, overcharge, under deliver, only saving grace was they delayed the movie so people would make it, but they didn't even show the pre show, you know, the first look at new Scary Movie. Yes we got the fan poster, which is the other reason for 2 star rating. Horrible service (forgot to mention with all these customers in line they had 3 total tills open) Fans don't get fan treatment for exclusives, popcorn when paying for extra butter was not extra butter, microwave butter version has more.

This theatre is clearly overdue for maintenance and proper cleaning. The seats are visibly worn and stained, and the auditorium did not feel clean. Floors were sticky, and the overall condition suggests that upkeep is not being prioritized. This is not about luxury or personal preference. With current ticket and concession prices, basic cleanliness and comfortable seating should be standard. Other Cineplex locations manage this without issue, which makes the contrast here noticeable and disappointing. Staff were polite, but this appears to be a facilities and management issue. With meaningful cleaning and seat replacement, this location could be acceptable again. Until then, I would recommend choosing a different theatre.

Not our regular movie theater and thank goodness because we won’t be back. Let me start off by saying not all the theaters are upgraded to the reclining comfy seats. Son are still the same upholstery stained smelly seats that were build with the theater 20+ years ago. Theater #9 was so filthy, the seats were disgusting people were warning each other to check the seats before they sat because they were so gross. And don’t even get me started on the disgusting smell or urine in the entire theater. Needed booster seats because we were seeing a CHILD movie and I had to go through 2 stacks of booster seats before I could fine just one that wasn’t sticky and stained with pop or fecal matter. Don’t even bother with this location go to Welland location or landmark. After reaching out to customer service they couldn’t care less. I would have talked to someone at the actual theater but there were zero workers around. Two doing popcorn and one behind the toy counter and no one even checking tickets!!! NO ONE could find me a manager or someone to talk that was available when I reached out with my concerns I was met with “Well we reached out and we were fully staffed that day”. I could look at a schedule and make that up too but where was your customer service for your paying customers.

This place has been here for as long as I remember. It’s pretty empty, the screens are smaller compared to a city cineplex, and it’s giving Five Nights at Freddy’s/backrooms a little bit. But the staff are friendly, the recliners are really nice and comfortable, and less foot traffic means sometimes you get a theater to yourself. I was happy to see Japanese films with e.s.t here, I don’t see that in every small town theater.

I visited Cineplex Niagara and had a great experience. The theatres are clean, the seats are comfortable, and the sound system makes the movie experience immersive. The staff at the entrance and concession stand were friendly and efficient. The location is also convenient, with nearby parking options. They offer a good selection of movies and showtimes, which makes it easy to find something that fits your schedule. A great place to enjoy a movie whether you're with family, friends, or on a date. Highly recommended!
