Terrible experience. Thursday October 23rd 2025 at 9:45 a.m. was met by a lazy old lady who was being difficult and wouldn't help me make change for my business. I've come to this branch before and had no issues even up to 3 weeks ago when a male was on staff. It really just depends on who you get when you walk up to the desk at this location. Some will help you, others clearly will not. Please train your staff to be helpful in customer service. Especially with local businesses that use your services. TD will be the bank I use from now on. Maybe have more than just one teller on if they are unwilling to help. Worst banking experience and now I have to take more time out of my day to go to a further bank and write this review. View on GoogleI am CIBC customer since 14 years but this is Worst branch location, Unaccountable staff. AVOID CIBC in branch transaction if you can. ustat never fixed his mistake for joint account application and charge me 29.90 for 5 months. Also Never sign up for overdraft but they charge $5 every month for 6 months.Hope they learn from their mistakes or don’t fool customer and charge extras money without their awareness
View on GoogleAvoid this branch if possible. The negative reviews are absolutely true, customer service here is terrible. I encountered the worst teller ever, who accused me of money laundering when I was simply trying to pay my credit card bill. Other branches are far more professional and welcoming. I offered several times to show proof through my banking app, but she refused to help. It was clear she had no interest in assisting customers and just wanted to sit there doing nothing. I live near this branch and will tell all my friends about this.
View on GoogleI love how I can make $600-800 in a week but only use 500 because of your "policy" called to get my limit upped and I needed a credit report? Makes no sense to me. Why is you hold my pay check not everyone gets direct deposit. I don't have time to go in during the day I'm a roofer I don't work "government hours." This has to change I've been with you guys for years and with the same company for 2 years now. Y'all's know who I am why do you refuse to help
View on GoogleUnwilling to accept change to be exchanged by a customer affiliated with Simplii. Was able to pull up my account with my phone number than stated there was no number on file. She pulled up my account using my phone number. Asked for Ontario ID but would not accept Ontario issued health card which is the only photo ID I have. Dawna was rude and her actions had me send in a random person to do for me what she was not willing to. What a poor representation of CIBC she is.
