I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received at this branch ( with the advisor KD). I received a text message saying my credit card was ready for pickup, so I went to the branch expecting to collect it. Upon arrival, I was told that my card had actually been cancelled because I am “not allowed to hold two credit cards at a time.” What made this experience worse was the staff member’s (KD) attitude. She (KD) admitted that she was the one who sent the message telling me the card was ready, even though she knew I would not be able to receive it. She acted as if she was doing me a huge favour, making faces. This is completely unprofessional. Sending incorrect information and then acting superior or dismissive is unacceptable. If a staff member does not know how to properly handle their responsibilities or communicate clearly, it reflects very poorly on the branch and the bank. It would be better for someone like this to stay home rather than waste customers’ time and create frustration.
View on GoogleI forget the name of the lady that helped me the other day. I want to say it was Tracy, but I could be wrong. Anyways she was very helpful and friendly. She made me feel that my switch to CIBC was a good one. Thank you!! This was the Niagara Square branch I visited.

I walked in without an appointment, and despite it being close to closing time, Lisa was incredibly accommodating, kind, and professional. She went above and beyond to assist me in opening my account, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. Her exceptional customer service and willingness to help truly stood out. I highly appreciate her dedication and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting this branch! Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

View on GoogleAll i wanted to do is to talk to an financial advicer what I wanted to do. She totally assumed I was going to pay cash, which I never said. I just needed info on how to go about to pay off a loan. Bad results. Bad telephone communication on her part. Discouraging to say the least. No appointment was made.
