I opened a new account with CIBC believing that you would get $500 once you completed certain things and then I find out it can take up to 7 months to receive the promotional $500 if you're opening an account with CIBC hoping to get that money watch out it is false advertising. View on GoogleTrying to get a replacement cibc visa card since my current card expired. Unhelpful staff saying they dont help with visa cards and I need to call the 1800 number to re-issue a card. So I'm supposed to wait hours on the phone to get a replacement when you should be able to get one mailed to me or issue me one? What a joke

View on GoogleI am very displeased with this branch on lundys lane. After opening a brand new account I reported fraudulent activity from Instacart. After days of not being able to use my card I was sent to the branch I was then treated very poorly and after taking my monthly account fee decided to tell me I have been exited from the bank they gave me my remaining funds and sent me on my way. A week later a decision was made that the fraud was really fraud and refunded my money I again had to go back to the bank they still would not open my account and gave me my cash and that was the end of that. Never again will I go back to this bank. The manager was extremely rude and the young male behind the counter. Never again! If I could give negative stars I would!!!!
View on GoogleWhat a horrible experience @ CIBC Lundys Lane branch. After 8+ years I am closing my account and will be taking my business to RBC. My family will be doing so also and i suggest to friends leave this financial institution. I have never felt like i was a valued client at CIBC at all. The branch manager at CIBC Lundys Lane has horrible customer service which really seals the deal for me to close my account and move on to where I am treated like a valued client.
