CIBC Branch with ATM

Stacey, the branch manager, was excellent! We had a particularly complicated situation, and Stacey helped us by taking prompt and empathetic action. We are so grateful for all of her help!

The Bank cancelled my credit cards under suspension i was spending spending the money in illegal red rooms ( this is all alleged.) now i am living out of my ford windstar van outside of my once great tycoon (roses fine yarns and j&j florists)

On Friday March 21st at 3:30 pm, I stopped in at my branch in Fonthill in order to deposit a cheque. Since the bank was open and no one in line, I decided to make an in-person deposit with a teller rather than use the ATM. I was unprepared for the way I was treated during my interaction with the teller who told me that I could deposit it at the ATM, and before I could respond spoke in a most condescending way. He insisted that I would need help to operate the ATM. I told him that I was using the ATM before he was born. He was tone deaf to me and insisted that he was more than willing to help. It was as if I wasn't even there. It was a humiliating experience though I am beginning to believe, in retrospect, that the teller may have been mentally challenged. This is not the first experience of Ageism at a financial institution and probably won't be the last.

I just wanna say I went to this location 2 hours ago and the customer service I received was FANTASTIC! I was with my new born child and my 3 year old and I buzzed to use the elevator and the lady came down to try and get it to work and it wasnt working. She said she would help carry my stroller up the stairs. So we both carried the stroller up. While I was at the teller the lady was playing with my new born and my 3 year old. After I was done she helped carried the stroller down as well and I said thank you so much! I think her name was Allison M. Just wanted to say it's nice to see theres still good people and I appreciated all your help and service! - a very happy customer
